This is not to debate on who would win. Even if you think he will win, what IF he were to lose to the 43 year old Hopkins. How much would this damage his legacy?
Some are quick to jump out and say that he is ALREADY an all-time great, I disagree strongly. Bernard wasn't even Top 50 on the all-time great list until he moved up defeated Tarver, who was a favorite.
He was gonna go down as one of the top Middleweights of all time but not all-time greats. So what about Joe, surely he has earned himself the top spot in a divison that has no history. The 168lb division has only been around since the 80's so historically being the greatest Supper-middle of all times doesn't mean much.
How much does a loss to Hopkins damage his legacy as one of the greatest european fighters?
You know what the hardest part about defending Calzaghe's Legacy?? Defending all the cans on his resume! It's not like your building up one fighter, you gotta pretend Bika's good, Lacy's good. Credit to Cal Fans for doin all that legwork. Imagine your guy was the real deal and you could just sitback and enjoy his work? that would be sick
You're right, Calzaghe fans do like to think that their man has a impressive resume of world beaters on his record. It couldn't further from the truth.
Some of them discredit Hopkins's entire career yet pump up Calzaghe's unbeaten record that consists of only 2 victories against young prime competition in Lacy and Kessler.
ummm, 23-0 23 ko's 19 of which were in the first round. this guy is really good and could beat alot of the guys on your list.
They were all cans though
Valero is good but i think all the top boys beat him.
I havent seen Andy Lee fight

it would damage it but not as much that is being made out
hopkins is still considered p4p and losing to him didnt affect winky too much
what ppl seem to 4get is joe will be 36 come fight night
and no Edwin Valero (23-0 23ko's). but its a pretty good list though.

you can't use comparisons to other fighters, to justify your opinion that haye is gonna win, and haye couldn't make as much money against anyone in the hw division as he is making for this fight take it from someone who is british 1, and 2 im going to the fight so i know how much tickets were. This is a big money fight here, and that is the reason haye is killing himself to make cruiserweight again. Trust me he will lose, if his chin holds up it will be systematic if it doesnt it will be early, haye does not have a good defense or chin, and enzo is quicker. he will lose unless he lands a homerun shot

Look at this fucking guy. No Andy Lee on your future list? I hope you get blown up by an IRA truck bomb.
and no Edwin Valero (23-0 23ko's). but its a pretty good list though.
And Jean Pascal is listed in the future list.. Flat, it's not too late to bail on Jean Pascal, he almost got dropped by an honest to god "Can." And if you watched him calling out Miranda after Miranda dropped Banks, you can see Pascal was just going through the motions. He was 100% praying that security and team members would hold the two back. Pascal will have an L on his Rec by the years end if he doesn't tighten up.
he is defending bika.. the contender champ.. i can't waste my time. i should be doin tps reports instead
No doubt. Bika is a legend. When is his Hall of Fame Enshrinement ceremony? What's that? Right after Peter Manfredo's? Gotcha. Nice.
The fact that you're defending Bika is sad.
He is no can you moron
