Why is magarito feared? lol i dont get it

all that needs to be said right there. People go overboard on him in both directions, 2008 has to be the year he shows exactly where he belongs. Right now his status has taken a serious a serious downfall. But I can understand the reputation he got as the most feared fighter, at least for a little while. For those who were watching boxing from June 2007 through July 2008...he certainly held a certain aura about him being a very scary dude. :( Mosley took that aura and sent it to the trashcan.

You obviously don't know anything about boxing or styles. U bringing up the 6 loses shows how much you know about margarito. Those loses don't mean much my friend especially since they were a million years ago and the most recent to williams was actually a good experience for margarito and is now a much faster starter and more aggressive than before. You ask why margarito is feared i don't know! why dont you shoot that question to Miguel Cotto and ask him why he's balking at a fight with margarito! :kiss: The man is making sense folks:banana:

It was in 05 probably earlier that Margarito has been calling for Mayweather. The ring had him #1, espn, had him #2 and real threat wanted to fight him, so there came the feared part.

By losing a unanimous decision to him? I guess you didnt see the fight. Clottey pasted him up until his hand turned to glass. But you conveniently forget that Margarito had a damaged wrist and ankle in that fight. That's what caused the Williams fight to be delayed. Clottey did well early, but the championship rounds were won by Margarito. How about giving him some credit for fighting two of the most avoided welterweights in the business (Clottey and Williams)? He blew off a higher paying Cotto fight to give Williams his mandatory title shot.
