No he would get sub'd like a chump
Tyson has gone on record and said he was amazed when he first saw top MMA fighters. He said he always thought he was the baddest mother fucker alive but wouldn't fuck with some of these guys.
Tyson says a lot of shit, If he had a backgroun in Wrestling he'd be unstoppable.
Prime Tyson would KO all those MMA guys in under 10 seconds.

You wont see a lot of straight shots in MMA because they dont train to throw straight shots. The have a varied stance (more squared up to the opponent). This prevents an MMA fighter from delivering a nice straight boxing punch. This more squared stance enables the MMA fighter to defend takedowns, kicks and against the same "wide" shots coming back at them.
Anderson Silva throws straight shots but he is not exactly afraid of the takedown. He can handle himself on the ground too.
thing is, i dont think he would even have to take it to the mat in an MMA fight. From what I've seen of MMA, those guys dont throw straight rights, so when a straight right from cintron comes at them, they wont block it. Clean punches in MMA seem to be devestating cuz guys arent use to them. If it did go to the mat, cintron would be fine, but i just dont see it going there with his right hand.

Cro Cop wasn't a wrestler in the past either but because of his athleticism he could defend take downs very well, even against great wrestlers like Randleman and Coleman.
He can't use his wrestling offensively at all but he concentrates all of his training on defending takedowns and striking.
I disagree with the person who said Lacy unless he turns out to have wrestling experience?, if strength and size is the reason he is being picked. I don't think he is near as strong as he looks.
Not just strength, and how do u know how strong he is. That mofo is cock strong. He's got a large neck, big hands, dense thighs, and appears to have good ligament strength, these are all key contributers to having success in wrestling.
Mike Tyson baby.
He'd crush those fools.
Actually, ur right, Only if he knew how to wrestle, He's got the tools, Big neck, Tremendous leg strength (Lifting Power), Really large hands (Grip), Short limbs. He would have been awesome

vitali klitschko was a world kickboxing champ of some form, he would have gone well (as long as he didnt injure himself of course)
Cintron with his wrestling background could fair well, any boxer that could learn to avoid/block a takedown will do well ala Liddell, chuck cannot wrestle real well and has basically no ground game but is pretty much as good as it gets at avoiding a takedown and keeping it on his feet where usually he has the advantage as most boxers would
Chuck's was an excellent Division I College wrestler, he just chooses to stand because of his tremendous power.
Cintron because of his wrestling background.
Maybe Pacquiao.........he in my mind could be a nasty Thai style fighter if he put his mind to it. Of course fighting other little guys.
He's in perfect Thai fight shape.

Cintron would make a good sprawl n' brawl fighter with his wrestling.
Defend takedowns with his wrestling and knock people out standing up with his boxing skills and KO power.
He would have problems with good muay thai fighter's though.
