Loving the vid. Was expecting to see more of Duran's right hand. I think Durans just practising footwork more than anything, imagine if them two had fought at middleweight,some fight thatd been IMO.

Benn clearly pulling his punches ALOT, if you know how hard he whacks ;) That was in January 1988 (hence the xmas gut on Duran). They sparred again in Miami in Feb '88 which Mickey Rourke watched

Hahaha yeah I've seen that a few times. Benn looks like he's taking it pretty seriously and Duran looks like he's playing to the crowd and messing about the whole time. Damn, he still moves well for an old bastard with a massive gut though! He is just so smart in the ring. Reminds me of watching Toney spar. Knows all the moves and can make a younger, fitter, stronger prime champ look silly with the way he makes him miss, spins him, gets the angles and basically wander about with his hands down just using head movement and his body to make Benn miss wildly with his combos. Great display for an out of shape, old man.
