The check hook knocked him out...the one two punch made the referee stop the fight and the corner throw in the towel...the check hook is what got the job done, the referee could've smacked him twice and he would've been out again. Got up at the count of 8.. and immediately went on the Attack... After 2 big hits (the Hook and the Post) He was still there.. However he then ate a Right hand.. That put him on queer street.. Not as Pretty as the check hook... But being 2 hits after the check.. the REAL KO punch... Sorry if that burts anyone's Bubble... But hatton Did not get KO'd by the check Hook.. He would have had a better chance, for sure. But since it was so early in the round and there was no chance of clinching, I doubt it. I don't know man, he made it through the 8th. Its difficult to know. I've played contact sports and know how disorientating it is to get a double hit. If you get hit once you can focus on that and your body focuses on that but a double hit can really send you into a talespin and you're like wtf?

It was the second left hok he landed that rocked him back to the ropes. And nobody should downplay the ring post. It did have some effect. Beautiful punch though, the check left... the check hook jus started the KOing process. no one thought he was comin out alive after that, not even ricky himself. if the turnbuckle wasnt there, he woulda went down face first onto the canvas. plus that turnbuckle is padded, so i wouldnt say that forced him to fall over, it jus bounced him back in the other direction...
