so how are you qualified to make this thread? you left out the best fight of the year for crying out loud
on another note, why does everyone think Taylor-Pavlik was good? I just remember Taylor crushing him, letting off the gas and getting stopped out of nowhere. how is that a good fight?i don't usually pay attention to the lower divisions such as (flyweight, bantamweight, strawweight) weights, only welterweight and up.
i just saw the fight vazques-marquez II and it was a great fight.
are you happy now?
maybe because i don't care for neither of them and because i didn't watch the fight? :ugh:

I dont think Bika vs Condrigton must to be FOTY cuz they are a class B fighter and the fight wasn´t for a world title
huh? was Gatti-Ward a title fight? was Ward-Agustas a title fight? the best fights are non title fights. Belts and the class of a fighter does not automatically make the fight a good one. its all mainly hype. Taylor-Pavlik was the only fight of the year canidate on that list IMO.
none of them were fight of the year IMO. where is Vasquez-Marquez or Bika-Codrington? it does not need to be a superfight in order to be fight of the year.
UnderBalls you forgot the best fight "Marquez/Hasquez 2" in your poll.
From your list I will go with Taylor/Pavlik.yes yes yes, i already know. :slap:
Well, i dont think it was really a WAR due to the fact that Miranda looked out gunned from the get go and it really didnt seem like he was gonna do Pavlik some damage. You could tell where the fight was gonna go after the second round. Still a great fight though. I was in shock watching Miranda slump on the ropes. I mean, after watching him BUMRUSH Allen Green trying to murder him.
Rewatch the fight; the first round is close but the second round Miranda has Pavlik hurt momentarily and won the round...
For me it was Pavlik-Miranda; it was an all out war from start to finish...

ya, it was a good fight. Probably didn't hear about it since both guys are at lower weights. But it was an awesome fight. And worthy enough to be mention in your list. :)
no wonder i didn't know about it, it was on the bantamweight division, i usually pay more attention to welterweight and up division fights, but damn when i saw their faces all bloody, wow, bless mexican fighters. :fing02:
wow i'm impressed. vazques-marquez II
it sucks i didn't hear about this fight. :nonono:

Vasquez-Marquez II was better than them all, but if I had to pick from those, then the one that gave me the most excitement in the end was Mayweather-Hatton.
