The guy was a class act tonight; he wacs modest, sportsmanlike, and 'down to earth.' Hatton on the otherhand, didn't give Floyd his due respect and down played his performance... I've tried to tell people that Floyd is a good guy. He acts cocky to sell a fight. If he was really a cocky asshole like how some put him out to be do you really think he would give Hatton his props and show sportsmenship.

Let's hear it. I was off by a round. I gave Ricky too much credit predicting a 11th round tko but the Cum towel was waived off by Team Hatton as I predicted.........LMAO. All you Anti-Floyd's/Hatton fanatics who have been saying that Hatton will knock him out. Learn to love it Floyd has said that he is taking a long break.......who knows when he will be back. Great post.Very well said.The Hitman will return.What I like more than anything Is the loyalty the fans have shown to Hatton even In defeat.We do not seem to have that loyalty over here.For example when mike Tyson was young and killing anything and everything In front of him people talked like he could quite possibly go down as one of the greatest heavyweights ever,well he loses a few fights and all of a sudden he was nothing more than a bully who was completley overrated. i agree ironmt , its funny how easy fans can disown a fighter after a loss , i can only give hatton credit for trying his luck 2nite , and he will always be a champion in my eyes , not only for the way he handles himself in the ring , but for the everyday guy he is outside the ring , i wiill always respect a guy that shows heart , and i will always respect a guy that has the skills that pbf has , he was awesome , just his attitude got to me , maybe that was just for the media , maybe not.

........Floyd mayweather on his display of boxing skills , even though my heart is bleeding right now cos my fellow mancunian /hyde town citizen has been beaten , i have to say that pbf is the top dog at 147 , there will be many uk fans that will complain about the ref and so on.... , but the truth is that pbf is the main man at this weight , ricky couldnt bully him or overpower him like he has with previous opponents , and he sure didnt have half the skills that pbf had , ricky should stick to 140 where he is a champion , the truth is i didnt like floyd b4 this fight because of the way he acted with his money and attitude towards his opponents , but he was gracious in victory and i think somewhere deep down beneath all that " money" moniker and brashness there is a decent guy , maybe his upbringing and the culture he is surrounded by has made him that way, if only he acted like ricky he would be a true peoples champion, but , anyways , here i am at 6 : 41am Manchester time after a night full of booze and cigarettes gutted that my hometown fighter has lost , but full of praise for the boxing prowess and defence masterclass of pbf , no matter what people think of floyd as a person , he is THE MAN , hatton will be back tho , not at 147 , but back down to 140 his true weight , i can only give hatton respect for taking this fight on , he could of easily stayed at 140 and ruled , but instead he chose to take on the best in the world and lost , the lad has got some guts and heart and nobody can take that from him , this was one step 2 far tho. Let me also congratulate Mayweather. I thought his performance in the 8th, 9th and 10th rounds was nothing short of brilliant. Hatton gave him hell but he came up with the answer and showed a hell of a lot of class after the fight so I doff my cap to the Pretty Bot.

Well done PBF Over the months and weeks weve all wrote some shit and ive been guilty as anybody. First of all awesome Flloyd no doubt but we all play with our heart and Rickys a mate of mine and im sad right now for him, he got beat fair and square and gave it everything he had but tonight came up well short of a living legend that is Flloyd Mayweather. I have read some threads that are terrible and cant absorb the hate but hey maybe if the result was different I may have gloated. Tonight we saw two people put there life on the line for our pleasure and we shouldnt forget that. Flloyd tonight proved his title as the greatest pound for pound fighter on the planet and long may we be able to admire his craft. I am proud of Rickys effort and he didnt need to fight this fight but had the guts to take it on so fair play. I am numb right now and feel gutted for the Hitman and when a fighters 0 goes its a sad day but the majority have had too deal with the same thing but the great come back and prove there salt, hes my mate and has nothing to prove to anyone but himself, and for the sake of the sport we love lets hope he does. I believe Flloyd is unbeatable after the evidence tonight and applaud his performance and so should any fight fan, no excuses the best man won. God bless both fighters are healthy and well. Chris
