IMO. I like Hatton. His personality is wonderful, and he is a whole hell of a lot more interesting than Oscar.
With the last 24/7, whenever it was Oscar time, I'd fast forward. (DVR spoils you.) He was so boring. So dull.
Hatton may not be cute, but he is certainly firey. You almost want to believe him when he says he is going to win. He is more fierce than De La.
Is it possible, regardless of the outcome, because of Oscars clandestine behavior that his much desired fight with Hatton could see his tide turn....for good?
Hatton may not be fine enough to be the face of boxing, but he is strong enough personality wise to bring a nation with him and attract new fans.
Including me.
Yeah Hattons personality is way more real than OScar....Oscar is probably a dull boring asshole in real life....The Hattons are fun...so is Floyd...I was thinking the title to this post while I was watching it too
Oscar is a lame oh gosh gee goolly gosh type of personality. Sad to say but his popularity is equally based on his looks, ability and smart marketing.
Lennox Lewis was also a bore, Calvin Brock reminds me a lot of him.
Hatton is very funny, witty and charismatic and has tons more personality than Oscar.
The other guy I miss on HBO is Foreman that guy was funny and told it the way he saw it, even if it wasn't the official HBO position (which is probably why he is not currently commentating for them).
money.right on the money, oscar always cracks me up when he says"he thinks everything is going to be fine and dandy"what the hell is that?
I agree to the extent that Hatton is definitely more interesting than Oscar. He makes things seem more fierce, plus Oscar was visibly frustrated and psychologically beaten. He's stiffer and more annoying than Hatton is.
Too late..:)
Look, i know you hate us nordic enslavers of all that is good and holy, but damn Isis?
Show me one thread where i nutlicked any fighter alive-other than Hagler?
Ill show you 50 where you set records for indoor cocksmoking!
How long must i beat you down?

don't forget he's not in his young days anymore, because a prime oscar would have gave hatton a beat down.
Prime Oscar gives Floyd a beat down too, what's your point?

Indeed. Oscars life was so boring. I began to understand looking back why he needed to be "Goldie" every once in a while. He's so bored with himself he felt the need to cross dress.
Oscar is so lame, i still to this day cant understand why he is so popular.
Gotta love Hatton though, and this 24/7 series is getting him a BIG fanbase in the states
Because he is attractive. That has to be it. He's boring. His career has been decent, nothing to sing praises about. IMO. (Lost almost all of his biggest fights.) Amazing what some pretty brown eyes and a nice smile can accomplish.
Even in a sport dominated by men........Interesting.

In the face of such honesty i hate to sound like a nutlicker myself

In the face of such honesty i hate to sound like a nutlicker myself, but every word of it is true!
I am Hard on Mayweather for the exact opposite reason listed above.
Hatton doesn't have 1/10 the natural gift Mayweather does, but jesus he makes the best of what he does have and gives credit where it's due.
Great post Beauty, and not just because it puts Hatton in a good light, but because every word is true!
