Alexander Povetkin v Eddie Chambers

dog look at him at the end of the Brock fight he definitely could've ran a few miles after that fight. Granted not much was thrown between the two but dudes in shape hopefully his output increases and he said himself that theres more money at Heavyweight. Solis or Peter or Chagaev are his height and they doin well in the division. but brock came in looking like a fat slob at 241 lbs. I really cant see chambers beating povetkin. povetkin has his flaws but he does throw good quick combinations as does chambers,,but pov has more pop and a better work rate. I just dont think chambers is capable of a good activity level. he looks soft and lazy. some fighters just arent capable of throwing enough punchers round after round. ud for povetkin

I agree fight does depend on Chambers output but I think he will throw more punches because hes been doing everything else real well and that's the only big thing holdin him back. povetkin is overrated imo he is ok but nothing special. this is a close fight it all depends on if chambers can throw more punches. Wlad is gonna get knocked out one of these days and there will never be threads bout him again. yeah, i forgot to say that the one thing i don't like about chambers is that his defense depends only on blocking punches instead of slipping them like byrd or toney. so i should have said he's like a young byrd but his defense isn't as good, he does hit a little harder than byrd did, though Chambers' punches did look sharp and crisp against Brock, and looked like he did some damage to Calvin's mug. Be interesting to see what he does against an in shape guy 30 lbs heavier like Klitschko.

I think you're giving Chambers a little bit to much credit, Chris Byrd is a much better fighter than Chambers. They are both small and defensive and rely on accumulation of punches rather than power but their defense is different. Chris' defense is perfect for a small heavy, he rolls away from punches taking the force off of them. Povetkin is good, but he's not cleaning shit out. I don;'t know if Chambers cabn beat him, but I don't see either having the tools to challenge Klitschko. Chambers is sefensive, with limited punch output and power. That means he could never beat Klit. Can Povetkin take a Klit punch? Or get any combinations off?
