Oscar's perfect farewell fight would be against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. What u think?Was there ever a fighter who faced--or, beat-- both father and son over the span of his career or careers (i.e., first career-retirement-comeback)? The answer to that question may just make De La Hoya consider your idea seriously...;) From where I sit, Oscar can easily be persuaded to think of firsts and fews (first fighter in history to do something; one of the few fighters to achieve something). Plus, there seems to be good financial prospects for the match if it happens in, say, 09... That last consideration may be the one that appeals most to DLH.

Trust me Oscar vs Chavez will happen. I'm telling you, it has to happen. It's like all the stars lining up. The timeframe has to be tweaked a little, but this fight makes dollars and sense.
