when this was on back in the Spring, ALL of my non-boxing fans were picking De La Hoya because, like typical morons, they bought into the hype that show projected about Oscar. I knew Oscar wasn't on Mayweather's level and took all of their money gladly. I was the only one at the party cheering on Mayweather and the only one who stuck around to watch the decision (a good indicator of how one-sided it was).
yesterday my buddy says he'll bet me 40 dollars straight up Hatton wins. I asked him who Hatton had fought and beat to make him think he could win. He said Hatton was a vicious bodypuncher and trains 15 rounds. I laughed and bet him.
This show can make boxing fans rich because so many non-boxing idiots out there actually bet on Floyd's opponent. I hope they keep doing these as long as Floyd fights.
Im pretty sure it will be called:
Mayweather-Cotto 24/7.
Not the other way around.
Cotto's gonna be the only champ in that fight, Cause Hattons winning on saturday :D
I already had the money from DLH fans in my hands when the scores were being read. When the fight ended they all were talking about how DLH would get him in the rematch. No way the fight should've been that close.
Yeah I mean that fight just wasnt close.
Except one of these days They will make a 24/7 for COTTO-MAYWEATHER, and you wont be taking anybodies money

Even though Mayweather is the clear favoite to me, Hatton may be the biggest challenge for Mayweather yet. And im a bit worried about Mayweathers body, that he has problems with his hands was no secret but as you see on 24/7 he has also problems with his Elbows, shoulders and back.
Mayweather will not fight much longer and i think rightfully so. It would be fine with me if Mayweather retires after he beats Hatton.

couldn't agree more. nobody - and there were more than 50 people trying to watch this fight - thought Oscar won it. not a single one of them thought it was close enough to sit around and wait. only me and my girl waited and that's because boxing is the only sport where the winner can lose. when I said it was a split decision, people actually laughed. no b.s.
So you tell me why they all got up and went to do other things if they thought Oscar had even come close

HBO is smart, the show will bring a lot of money toward Hatoon evening out the odds. It will also make people think it won't be a one sided fight and build interest. That's the purpose of the show and it has worked.
