Why can't I compare the punches? Hatton was holding on for dear life for a matter of seconds - around the same amount of time that Floyd was backed up against the ropes and not throwing anything back. There's a difference when you know exactly where your at in the ring and know what your doing. and he threw from the ropes and hurt him. You're just trying to find any little thing to argue the fact hatton was just about out on his feet. you'd be stupid to say floyd was hurt in this fight. corley caught him every now and then but never was floyd hurt. get out of here!

After watching that video how can anyone say that Hatton will beat Floyd? Because most people have the sense not to base their judgement on one performance.

He did it against de la hoya! he will be on the ropes (by choice) against hatton and he will counter him while hatton swings away and misses as his english people cheer thinking he's doing something when in reality HES NOT! Mayweather was trying to fight in the middle of the ring against Corley and only went to the ropes because he was in trouble. Bringing up other fights is pointless because they have nothing to do with that particular fight.

You say it could have been a knockdown and you're right, t could have been a knockdown if boxing operated under different rules but it doesn't so forget about it.
