Antonio Tarver - Shot or Capable of Coming Back?

I am big fan of Antonio's. I recognized his great skill and focus in the ring and the trash talking he did wasn't as annoying back then as it is now. I really hope he can make it back to the spotlight but he wont get there fighting Hopkins again like he wants to. but then again, If he steps in the ring with Chad Dawson, Dawson would destroy him in my opinion so that leads me to ask, is it over for Tarver?

I'll take you up on that if I have any points left at that point when/if the fight is made. Prime RJJ SMOKES any version of Tarver and Dawson sends 39 year old Tarver to the old age home. Roy is a very hard fighter to beat. I dont think Dawson could last 8 rounds agaisnt a prime Roy or prime Tarver.

did anybody else see the muriqi fight as way closer than anyone at showtime scored it (bernstein is a damn knuckle head by the way)? i watched a replay last night, scored the rounds in my head, and had it a draw with 2 really close rounds that could have gone either way or been 10-10 rounds. he really laid some good leather on tarver's body.

I've always seen Tarver as a guy living off of Roy Jones' name, I don't even think he could beat Jones a 4th time and that fight should be his farewellfight. He has no chance at the glory he once said he deserved and nobody thinks he's important enough to fight anymore
