I see what you saying but Cintron is just an overall powerhouse, he basically lost himself that Margarito fight ya feel me he didn't get KTFO he just took an easy route out of that fight, can't really tell why because up to the point it was stopped Cintron was still competitive but he let it die down, he wont do that again.. Williams is a GREAT opponent for Cintron because he will bang with him, unless Cintron has hurt hands he will give Paul EVERYTHING he throws at him and then some, Cintron's height, reach and power will be the difference here, it ain't that Cintron ain't got no heart neither but that just wasn't his night, he was off point and wasn't fighting to the best of his ability, if it was a matter of not having heart he would have never stuck it out with Feliciano for 10 rounds he would have gave in by then, Cintron got heart it's just you can't win a fight that YOU yourself feel you lost already..
Cintron defeated himself due to his confidence that night but thats not to say he's always going to be like that, he's a known threat to anyone who wants to fight him, against Williams all he has to do is fight on the inside and land his best body and head blows, he will eventually hurt Williams, if his right hand doesn't give in then Paul is in for some trouble and it's not even about south paws because when it comes down to it Williams gives up his advantages by fighting so loosely, he throws 1,000 punches a fight meaning he's right there to be hit as well and I don't think he can go a full 12 taking Cintron's right hand, I think if Paul throws enough punches he can deter Kermit for a few rounds and survive but he wont win a decision because for 10 of those piston punches it will only take 3 of Kermit's hits to out do that, I think Cintron wins a decision with Paul touching the canvas a few times but that opinion is one of those "has to happen" things..
I feel u though Paul is a beast but I just don't see him beating Cintron just like I don't see Margarito doing it neither.. 100
i feel what u saying . we both made some good points. im tired now but i'll respond to this post when i wake up...LOL  :beerchug:

I think cintron believed in himself up until he got the wicked gash on his eye. no one ever mentions that. i think that effected him a lot. that being said, he was embarrassed in the first margarito fight, but i dont think it happens again.
i see what you are saying. Kermit is a good fighter but i don't think he is ready to compete with the elite while he is still getting over mental damage from the Margarito fight. i have to clear one thing as well, Williams has pop in his punches. he does not get all of those knockouts by smaking his opponents. he has enough to keep Cintron in check and his punch output alone would get to Cintron. The reason why Williams looked feather fisted against Margarito is because he knows that it would have been stupid to try to knock that man out so he stuck to smart boxing. just look at the Mitchell or the Mattysee fight. Once he starts to sit down and crank up those shots, he will have enough to get Cintron out. i have a few questions as well for yall Cintron fans. what good name southpaw has Cintron beat? what top 10 elite name fighter has Cintron beat? what elite fighter period has he beat? anwser these questions and i will take yall seriously. if he have not proved the things that yall say he will do, what fight convinced yall that he will do it? in the Magarito fight, Williams showed me everything that i needed to know. good chin, heart, battle tested, and good stamina while winning a UD. Cintron was stopped by Margarito so he never pasted that test. he still has a lot to prove. and Stewart is a great trainer but he cannot train a fighter to have heart. Williams will fight from a distance, keep his hands moving, and tie up on the inside when Cintron try to fight on the inside. he will take everything away from Cintron and as the rounds go by, he will slowly break Cintrin down mentally. and even if Cintron is doing everything that hes suppose to, i still don't see him beating Margarito. Margarito will once again walk through his shot and break his spirit.:boxing: :boxing:

cintron wouldnt last 3 roudns this time.
dude, no one takes you seriously at all. everyone on here hugs someones nuts, im not saying you are the only nuthugger. everyone has their favorite fighter, but most of us are somewhat objective. we offer good arguments to back up our statements. you offer none.
you just say that margarito would kill everyone, that everyone is ducking him, and that he is a warrior and no one else is. Sad.
nah you see Cintron was doing a lot of shit wrong, shit that he wont do wrong now that he got Manny Steward with him, see Manny taught him how to Box smartly not just Box, he is the voice in his corner and Kermit listens very well, during a fight Manny can tell him to do something and he will do it 100%, against Margarito he was too willing to fight and exchange but he wasn't destroyed, people make it out to seem like he was obliterated when he simply didn't respond to his calling, he felt like he lost the fight inside, his fire died out in the middle of the fight and it's that simple but it doesn't mean that even then he was the better athlete and fighter, he was it's just a mind game on the inside can fuck a fighter up 100% mentally, it can kill a fighters momentum and he was victim of his own doubt, THATS what beat him for real because he COULD have gotten up and continued but simply screamed help me without screaming it..
Williams is a great guy no doubt about it but Kermit will beat him, those pistol punches wont do nothing to a Cintron who is on the move and Paul's willingness to fight on the inside will allow Cintron to have ALL his chances to chop Paul down, mark my words whether it be by decision or TKO Kermit Cintron is going to win the fight, I gave Paul a good enough evaluation but when I saw him fade out late against a hamster on the wheel version of Margarito I thought to myself Kermit wouldn't let that happen to him, Kermit's jab and power would decide this one, Williams is a big guy with irregularly short arms for his frame so Kermit can get on the inside and make him pay with some hard shots, I just see Kermit beating both those guys and I like his position because I see it happening and as is he HAS to beat them to win his true respect, I feel he will do it pretty convincingly too.. 100

even in the first fight, Cintron was boxing and doing everything right. its just that his heart gave out in that fight and will again IMO once he fights Williams or Margarito. Cintron broke down because Margarito kept on coming and throwing even after he landed his bigs bombs on him. thats a front runner. if everything is going his way and people crumble under his power, he will be fine, but if someone like Williams or Margarito is still in his face and coming after he even landed power shots, he will break down because he does not want that kind of fight. he want things to go his way. Margarito and Williams are too tough and will give Cintron the fight that he does not want. they will take him into deep waters and drown him. you can't automatically gain heart once you come back and knock out a few bums. the only way that Cintron would save his reputation from that fight, is too beat Margarito. THE MAN that did it to him. beating blown up fighters is not going to cut it. and the toughness, punch volume, height, and gameness of Williams is going to catch up with Cintron in this fight. he still has mental damage from Margarito and it will show once Williams bring that heat. Williams is going to box, tie up on the inside, and stick to his game plan. as long as Williams does not get caught with nothing crazy, he will be fine. but Williams has showed that he is battle tested, has heart, and a great chin. i am confident that my boy Williams will bring it home. :boxing: :boxing: :boxing:

if you watch the fight, and listen between the early rounds, kermit tells manny his hand is busted. in the early rounds, kermit kept feliciano outside. then after he tells manny his hand is busted, manny said let him come inside, he wont be able to keep this pace up. no one puts that into contention. and you were right, his hand was not broken, but how could either him or manny known that during the fight? you cant diagnose a hand that is wrapped in a glove in the middle of the fight.
did you even watch the fight or just "read" about it? because what you read would be INCORRECT. i dont usually do this, but... :owned:
i don't see how you owned me. and i seen the fight plus i read fight articals in my spare time. what you are saying is not the point, the point is that Cintron looked bad against a fighter that he was suppose to blow out and look good against. Mike arnoutis knocked this man out in the first round. if Cinton can't fight with a SORE HAND, this is the wrong sport to be in. do you see Calzaghe, Wlad, Tua, Gatti, Ward, ect even flinch when thier hand is actually broke? he needs to man up. :boxing: :boxing: :owned:
he is right, Steward did the right thing too, Kermit wouldn't have been able to uphold such pain over the course of the fight if he was using his hurt hand, thats why he was only really using his left then when Manny told him to strike, he struck and TKO'ed him, what Manny said was take it down a notch and let this guy put in some work, he knew Kermit could take it, I KNOW Kermit can take it and any reasonable dude knows that too it's just every time you think of Kermit and punches you get a still image in ya head of him crying and automatically render him a chumpion, looking at it like that of course you going to think Kermit gonna get his ass whipped but Manny knew better, he basically told Kermit hold strong and absorb because this guy can't hold up such a active bout which he was correct in assuming..
Kermit follows instructions VERY well, he asked Manny to train him and he wouldn't let him down and look he just made Manny look like he knows what the fuck he's talking about, it happened EXACTLY the way Manny said so go figure, Cintron would beat Margarito down just as long as he keeps listening to Manny like he does.. but yea though Homie is correct, Manny told him to do that and with good reasoning too.. 100

LOL! i don't believe none of this. prove it. since when does a hall of fame trainer like stewart let opponents pound on his fighters? Cintron does not even have heart to begin with. thats why i know that was untrue. and Cintron's hand was not broke. i read that he hurt it in the post fight celebration so that excuse can be thrown out because its a lie. yes Cintron is a papper champion and yes Williams is going to whoop that ass. (if they fight).:boxing: :boxing: :boxing:

Cintron wins this fight just like I thought he would win the 1st one, you guys fall into the exact same category of fans that I spoke of in the other thread where someone told me I was right in a post until I made an "argument" for Joshua Clottey losing to Carlos Baldomir, I told him that I said Baldomir beat Clottey regardless of how and casual fans wont give 2 shits about looking up how, they see the text and go by that, however much like that fight there was something that went down that day that caused that outcome..
Kermit wasn't KO'ed the way Glen KO'ed Jones he was TKO'ed and it was due more to the ref stopping the fight after seeing him making gestures of quitting and showing discouragement BUT Kermit at that time didn't know how to use his tools, he didn't know how to flew his advantages and he's a BIGGER puncher than Margarito, he fought a completely wrong fight and on top of that he lost his will to fight, if the ref didn't stop it he would have ended up quitting because inside of himself he lost the fight, Antonio just got a good win as a result but don't think Tony just KO'ed him like a sack of shit, y'all make it seem like it was SOOOOOOOOO bad that he can't come back from it when truthfully he had EVERYTHING he needed to win but couldn't use it, Emmanuel Steward is what he needed and he got him now, now he can use his jab correctly and set up shots properly, he would defeat Tony this time and I would bet on it, IMO he shouldn't have even lost to him in the 1st place.. 100
did you know that getting worked by feliciano was his instructed gameplan once his hand got hurt? basically, manny said, let feliciano inside, give away rounds, so he tires himself out. then, in later rounds, steward told cintron to get outside and start boxing and KO him, which he did. if you go back and listen to manny's instructions, that is exactly what he told him. even the commentators were like, "why does manny want him to let this guy inside?" but they didnt know his hand was busted up.
It was not a great looking performance, but it was effective for a guy with a busted hand. Yall are gonna say "it was only a bruise", but they didnt know that at the time. for all they knew it was broken or dislocated and had to come up with a gameplan, ugly or otherwise.

What do you think? I am thinking yes for sure.
Kermit looked like shit in his last outing so i think he would still be in for a little of what he got last time!!!
Jesse Feleciano.
All that needs to be said.
Cintrion isnt terrible obviously, but for the hype hes gotten and a possible title shot, he is terrible.
Jesse Feliciano - the guy that floyd mayweather uses for sparring when they need a smaller guy who can bring a lot of pressure. he is better than his record suggests. listen, kerms performance was not great, but he KO'd a guy with his best weapon busted.
