Again, like I just said in another thread - I'm not sure how Floyd thinks this is going to be an opportunity put on a performance like he did with Corrales and Gatti. :confused: Either Floyd is just completely full of horsehit when he says that, or he really has little respect and little clue of what he's facing. why doesn't he train like that for every fight? I agree with you but every fight isn't the same. Maybe he had a dislike for those guys and he dislikes Hatton. Or he means that he has something to prove which did for both of those fights.

we are, but in sports, we are big rivals mostly in boxing, since thats the only sport we compete in on a high level. but even if i was to mention say, football, it wouldnt matter since england beat us in our last friendly, but with england looking like complete crap against croatia and other low level teams in the euro qualifier, even team USA might beat them in their current state. That's the only time Floyd has ever mentioned this! actually, he kinda has hinted it before, when he was on jimmy kimmel he said something similar to this. i mean, to be honest, USA and mexico dont have a real rivalry, neither do USA and puerto rico, since puerto rican is our territory anyway, however us and the uk are much bigger rivals since the UK tends to really hate us and our arrogant additudes towards everything
