Every now and then, a lanky tall ass guy comes to the boxing world and dominates for a while creating a hype. But sooner or later, age and weight catches up and they suddenly get chop down like a tree and the hype disappears. I belive that Paul Williams got a good chance to change the notion of the bigger they are the harder they fall. His skills don't go along with his size. Who else can you compare him to???
I remember some of those fighter's faces, but not the names... :feedback:
Maybe not but still he never fought anyone who was around his height.
The tallest of his opponents was Kiko Martinez around 5'5" I think, not sure tho.
Thank you. While Hearns is a obvious pick, I thought Bob Foster should've been as well. And Foster's highlight KO's still amaze me when I see them.
Hearns. And Sugar Ray at WW.

Still Hearns was a great fighter... I remember some undercards featuring skinny tall lanky ass fighters with great records and then... :killyou: Forever forgot!!!
Well Hearns got hurt as he went up in weight too much. Williams should do fine if he stays at WW for awhile. Being 162 in his last fight though, it's going to be tough. Jason Litzau was a lanky featherweight (5'10") with a perfect record that got KO'd, but he seems to be working his way back.
