Rate Mayweather's Resume

Considering the number of boxers who went professional (which is immense), and then taking into consideration all of those out of that bunch who has/had a resume on par with Mayweather's, I'd have to say it's pretty damn obvious that Floyd's resume is in the 90 percentile. Anything under a 9/10 is absurd. I voted "one of the best resumes of this era" as it is self-evident.

One of the best of this era obviously, as noone today has done better, other than De La Hoya in terms of who he fought. Surely not one of the best of all time when compared to the likes of Robinson, Greb, Charles, Ali, Langford, etc etc etc.

depends on how you rate it...personally considering the opponents he faced of all the ones available id say its probably an 8.5 or 9 / 10..... but there were some weak fighters around him so id say a 7.5/10

I CAN seperate my dislike for him personaly. I simply disagree that he is the best in boxing- i think this because i have seen every fight he ever had since winning the his first title. I know exactly what Floyd Mayweather is. He is a small, less talented Roy Jones. There are so many parallels it's sickening. Please enlighten us on how PBF is a small version of roy jones? Have seen most of your post about Mayweather and i think its very hard for you to give him any credit, Calzaghe of all people??? Calzaghe is my fav fighter because we were born in the same place but to suggest his resume is better than PBF is just ludicrous...Let me guess Gatti!!!

blah blah blah. I don't like the guy, but reading people try to cut him short on achievements is fucking stupid. What irks me is how he's so fucking good at the sport of boxing and is such a dickface. When was it that people who aren't fond of Floyd started detatching from reality and engaged in gross underrating? I realize there are cases where people don't like seeing his fight style.......that's understood. But barring a fight like his against JLC the first time around, it's clear that he just completely does what he wants with everyone. You can point to his opponents being sup par..............but then again you'd be trying to milk a wax cow statue. his right hand is the best in boxing hands down............he's the best in boxing hands down...........and there isn't anyone who is on his level. He'll show that against Hatton. well said mate, Yes the man is a dickhead but his resume is quite high for a guy that fought and won his first and proper title (WBC) at the age of 21 against Genaro Hernandez...While other are still wrapped in cotton wool...till they're 26 or 27

Good....can still become great...I just don't understand why he thinks he is great already.....he's got a few more big fights and big opponents to beat before he becomes "great" like someone he recently beat.....cough,cough oscar.But still one of the best of this era no doubt.

Well, i don't see how Lacy, Kessler, are any less than Gatti, Baldo- do you? Other than 130 mayweather really has nothing to brag about. all the serious quality is more than 7 years and 4 weight divisions ago. Yes, Calzaghie has fought good competition, not phenominal, but not horrible either! Course no one is claiming his resume is best of the era, but thats typical Mayweather banter from his zealots! Why do you people keep saying other than 130 then bring out Gatti's name? You guys need to start thinking and be a boxing fan dont let your hatred rule your head it does seriously make some of you look plain...The question was about his whole career which include all his tough fighta at 130,135..140,147 and his only fight at 154. ...Understand:duh:

Everyone seems to forget that Mayweather is only 30 years old, and already has a fantastic resume, with names like Hatton and Cotto or Williams only to be added in the future. Every single person on that list who you compared Floyd's resume to, where all at least 4 years older than he is, with the exception of Pac. Calzaghe - 35 Hopkins - 42 Mosely - 36 De La Hoya - 34 Trinidad - 35 And right now, you can very easily compare resume's, and Floyd is really only just beginning, just imagine the names in a few more years.

If he would have had atleast Tszyu or Casamayor in there, it would have been greatest of his era. dude, pull up any NAMED FIGHTER OUT THERE and you will find alot of the same quality of names. nothing special there. Best resume of this era wins or losses aside, just best competition faced goes to either Holyfield, Dlh, or James Toney! Holyfield being the best resume in a long long time!

just on paper, based on opposition he's defeated- one of the best of his era. skill wise i think he could hang with A LOT (not all) of the all time greats, especially when he was at 130, 135, and 140.

Great/Really good: - De La Hoya - Judah - Castillo - Corrales - Hernendaz - Hatton Good/Average: - Jesus Chavez (el matador) - Baldomir - Carlos Hernendaz - Arturo Gatti Decent: - Mitchell - Ndou - Corely - Augustus (yeah the man had a shitload of losses, but he was still good when he tried) - Manfredy Like this.
