I Hate Floyd So Much But I Dont See N E One Beating Him Convincingly ..his Skill Is Out Of Control...but If He Does Get Tkoed I Will Be Laughin Like 50 ..ha . Ha Ha Ha Ha ... Ha .... Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha .. All The Way 2 The Bank Wit My 20 K In Points Lol
Losing is just part if the sport simple as that nothing will change Floyd will still be one of the all time bests and will lose his sopt as number 1 pound for pound
but i still dont think Hatton will replace Mayweather in the rankings. he hasnt achieved as much overall
No one is saying that Hatton will replace Mayweather in the #1 p4p spot, but Floyd will definitely loses his #1 status if he loses to, as the Dominican God puts it, a C-level Bum like Hatton.
If he loses...Id be really suprised how he takes it. In fact, I think that might be one of the only ways I'd like him as a fighter. That is, if he loses and shows the character of a champion, doesn't make excuses, and gives all the credit to hatton. If he doesn't lose, I'd like to see him win at hattons game...I'd like to see him actually war with someone...I think that would gain a ton of respect imo and thats the type of thing that makes a champion great. Being able and being up to do either or, combination of heart and skills.
But, I doubt either one will happen. Because imo, Floyd is the one dimensional fighter that he seems to accuse everyone else of being. That is, he exclusively fights defensively...he never comes out of his comfort zone.
No matter what Floyd does he will be critizied. He beats Judah he lost to Baldomir. He beats DLH he didnt win by enough, DLH is older (oh and bigger, in a tiny ring with small gloves but any who). He beats Corrales while he is undefeated by Corrales has some troubles, Castillo, Chavez, and Manfready. He will beat Hatton and people will bitch and say crap like Hatton is a 140 pounder, right and Floyd is huge. FLoyd has to take Hatton out and beat Cotto then he will get the respect. Peace
it would be fucking stupid to bash Floyd if he losses to Hatton.. I realize the topic question and to answer it I'll say I will still hold Floyd up VERY high, Ricky Hatton is NO chump and he's undefeated in his own right.. if Floyd losses I can see him 1st before anything thanking God for letting him and Ricky fight a fight where both walked away, give Ricky his respect and basically just do what he has been doing his whole career, no changes, in fact I think Floyd being the sportsman he is that once the show is over and there's no more tickets to sell he will show the side that YOU haters want to see, his REAL side.. 100
That comment, sir, means that you are a bitch.
I'm sick of him proclaiming he's the greatest. He doesn't have to brag about it. He's great in my eyes.
It's sad bitches love bitches and pigs. You sir, are a good example.
I was being sarcastic, as that's atypical of the excuses around here. "X fighter would win anyway".
I figured you'd get that one, you're slipping. What happened? Was it my Hopkins talk earlier that rattled you? ;)
I'm punch-drunk from the Bringer bashing I took.
The same it's always been. I know he's a good fighter w/ immense talent but, he's just not that great. He's a HOF boxer but that's it.
Oh shut the fukkk up. You're gonna tell me that you gonna have the same lame ass opinion of him as long as he keeps winning but as soon he losses he aint shit?????
How bitter can one be??
Neither Hatton or Mayweather have found themselfs the Frazier-Ali/SRL/Duran rivary. Who's to say that this one couldn't be it. Two undefeated prime champions. If Hatton were to win a close fight, you could have a rematch........they could build their greatness off of each other and both go on to be great Duran/leonard style.
I doubt it though............Hatton will get his ass tore up and that's that. Moving on to Cotto
Whats your opinion of Floyd if he loses convincingly ?
The same it's always been. I know he's a good fighter w/ immense talent but, he's just not that great. He's a HOF boxer but that's it.
Who cares? He's the best fighter in the world, of course we expect at least a decision.
But that doesn't merit the excuse "He'd win anyway"...

We can talk about the possiblity of him losing when he faces Miguel Cotto
Cotto didn't impress me too much against an aging Mosley. Bring on Mayweather/Williams, if Floyd wins that one, I'll become a member of the nuthugger fan club.
1.) He's stated he has no intention of facing Miguel Cotto already. Before the Mosley/Cotto bout he announced in an interview on ESPN radio in Las Vegas that if Mosley won, he'd fight him. But if Cotto won he "couldn't make any money" against him.
2.) Even if he did face Cotto he'd UD him.
