i dont know why you bumped this either but youre right about judah being badly hurt by davis
i thought he was going to be stopped
only thing that saved him is i think davis was more surprised than anyone he hurt zab and wasnt able to settle down and land a good finishing blow
There hadn't been a proper telling of it on the forum. :lol1: For the integrity of the historical record it's good we're discussing this.
I was actually looking for a clear copy of the fight when I found this thread.
HaHA.. Quickly recovered? Judah almost got KTFO and had to hold on for dear life the next 1:20 of the round. He was still buzzed when the next round opened. Not exactly Cotto style recovery time.

This is an odd bump LOL.
Zab Judah W12 Ryan Davis... Prize Fight Promotions put on a packed show this past Saturday night, this time down in the Turks And Caicos Islands. Former multi-division champion Zab “Super” Judah disposed of Ryan Davis. Judah almost had Davis out early in the second round. Davis suffered what appeared to be a badly broken nose. Judah didn't go completely unscathed though, he was caught by a surprising Davis hook that had the former world champ holding on for a short time. Judah quickly recovered, and cruised to a dominating unanimous decision. source for all results: Bill Clancy

doubt it. he is washed up. He should hang them up already. Its embarrasing for a guy like him with all the fame he had all the talent he had and he's fighting these no ones on islands who knows where with probably 100 people watching. hang em up and do something else in life. and fighting, gambling on the streets doesnt count as something else
I beg to differ ~ in defense of Judah this was a good confidence builder - anyone would agree that is exactly what he needs. He has the ablity to go back into title contention with the "So-called", "Elites".
Anthony Peterson TKO'd Oscar Leon in the 5th and Lamont Peterson Ko'd Humberto Toledo in the 2nd
is humberto toledo the guy soto koed earlier this year??
He should fight Joshua Clottey, the winner will move in the rankings for sure.
I hadnt thought of that. I guess it's not like any big WW names are trying to sign a fight with Clottey right now.
Lamont Peterson is crazy good. So is the other one. They both are very good and very exciting too. Very fan friendly styles.
So many great prospects in the lower divisions. I cant wait to see how these guys turn out

That was a guy Judah should have dominated. The fact he got stunned late and went the distance is not good. He should try his best to get back down to 140.
hoepfully he's on his way to reinventing himself.

apparently he almost had Davis out in the 2nd and Davis suffered a broken nose. later on Davis caught Zab with a good hook that had Judah stunned but he recovered and cruised to a unanimous decision
