I think Cotto's lowblow on Judah was very clever; when he was in trouble he throwed it, the timing was perfect. But Trinidad was overall better at it though.
Yeah. I hate how these pencil-necked fegits would just do tons of cardio and say they dont want to look like Arnold. AS IF THEY COULD! Their bench press never goes over a hundred and I think Laila Ali would KO them in one round. I mean seriously, it you're a guy but you can't press more than a hundred you're worthless. Trying to look like Jude Law is the height of fegitry.
There's plenty of people in my gym who can't lift over 100kg. I normally press around 130kg but thats for 10-12reps. when doing lower reps (4-6) it's normally around 140-150kg.
Both have great low blows. Its like.. if Cotto would put his best two punches together in combination I dont see how a fighter could withstand it. Left hook to the body followed by a perfectly accurate left hook to the balls.
Trinidad however.. Did just PLASTER Vargas with a low blow.. That was a thing of beauty.
Never doubt a guy with a body like that. Even with steriods (not saying he's on it), he'd still have to lift real heavy and hard to get a look like that.
People always assume people take steroids and the muscle just appears. They dont realise it still takes months and months of hard work even on steroids to get a good physique. You still have to train just as hard as anybody who's not on steroids. Only differenc is it all comes faster.
What's his bench press?
about 400kg I think. I'll check now
Edit:
I was wrong. I think the world record is around 400kg. By Ryan Connely.
Here are Mariusz's Pb's...
Bench press - 285 kg
Squat - 360kg
Deadlift - 410 kg
I seem to remember Cotto going low in nearly every round with consistency in the fight against Torres. He was probably going to win it anyway, but it certainly made his job easier.
The low blows against Judah were anything but unintentional. Great fight and a good tactic to get out of trouble.
lolz yo ima have to get all of you guys addresses and buy you all some eye drops or something cuz you people don't see whats in front of you.. THE MAN IS A BODY PUNCHER! he punches to the body ALL the time, it's what he's known for, when he was HURT he didn't aim for Torres's nuts, even Larry Merchant, the shit talker of all shit talkers vouched for Cotto when Cotto hit Judah low by saying, and I quote "He has no history of doing that"..
that man CALLED damn near every important fight Cotto has had up to date, saw him up close at ringside and you mean to tell me that YOU know something he doesn't? what the fuck is wrong with you people, seriously.. shit yo I only hope that Jermain Taylor doesn't hit Pavlik low in the rematch because then you guys are going to call Taylor a dirty fighter even if he CLEARLY does it on accident.. fuckin unbelievable that Cotto gets threads made on him being a dirty fighter and the "head" of the Light Heavyweight division doesn't even get referenced as dirty on here..
I think you just take your bad days out on the forum... there is no cotto hate what so ever.. but please dont try to say that his low blows are unintentional.. he uses them when he is in trouble..
no hate? you calling Cotto a dirty fighter, someone who cheats when he sees himself in trouble and that shit just ain't true, if that was the case why didn't he low blow Torres? or Corley? you actually think it's a coincidence that Zab's arm was DIRECTLY behind Cotto's neck everytime Cotto hit him low? so what Cotto is just supposed to stop throwing to the body because this dude feels the need to lay on his neck, Cotto aimed for the BODY it was Judah who leaned on Cotto's neck forcing him to land lower, it's COMPLETELY clear yo open your eyes..
you beginning to sound like you don't know shit about Cotto yo on tha real, how u gonna say he uses low blows when he is in trouble when the TRUE times he was in REAL, fight ending trouble he DIDN'T hit low, he never attempted that he just stuck to his game plan and KO'ed the other guy, how can u call yourself a Boxing fan if you can't see that yo whats wrong with your eyes? go call Bernard Hopkins a dirty fighter then you'll make some sense but Cotto? c'mon man you sound ametuerish right now..
I think Cotto's lowblow on Judah was very clever; when he was in trouble he throwed it, the timing was perfect. But Trinidad was overall better at it though.
because u like puertoricans low areas too much just suck it!!!!! BITCH.
lolz this is some funnt shit, Bernard is the dirtiest fighter we have laid eyes upon in the last 10 years, actually lets it be KNOWN before a fight that he will fight dirty and I'm like the only one who points that out about him, I always say Bernard is a "head" first fighter and he also low blowed his way to qualify against Tito, even slightly pushed Trinidad before he knocked him down everytime he did so, he is the dirtiest player in Boxing right now and he doesn't get no threads made about his head but Cotto only hits low a couple times in 1 fight which were perfectly visible accidents due to Judah jumping upand putting his arm behind Cotto's head and suddenly he's a dirty fighter, this is clearly hate yo and it's some real biased bullshit..
before Judah nobody ever called Cotto a dirty fighter and now he throws a couple low him being known for his relentless body punching and suddenly he's a dirty guy.. you guys are really hurting your credibilities with me and not that you guys should give a flying fuck about that but I know I ain't the only 1 who feels this way, that shit is whack when people be hating yo it ruins the look of the board, too many dick riders and haters on here yo on tha real..

I'm sorry but both you guys are idiots.. Cotto hits low a few times when he was clearly hitting for the body but got a elbow behind his neck dragging him down and a fighter who jumped up in front of him and suddenly he's a low blow type of fighter? you guys don't know shit from shit.. what about that low blow that was given to him against Quintana? nobody calling Quintana a dirty fighter right? the point here is you guys are haters and need to re-evaluate your shitty ass words..

cotto hits low whenever he's in trouble
How can you say Cotto is dirty? Did he HAVE to hit, Rivera, or Corley low? Both had him a hurt. Judah was bouncing around like a rabbit scared to death of Cottos rib strikes. Anyone who has watch boxing for 3 minutes knows... Judah would NEVER have beaten Cotto. Even if Cotto went down.. he would have gotten up to destroy Judah. That's a fantasy about "judah had him" What fight where you watching? Not only that, Judah retaliated low and with a headbutt. Still got owned.

I am not mexican by any means. None of my ancestors were born in this continent, and neither was I.

i'd have to say your mothers is better.
