I'm compelled to ask since it begs the question as to what is the root of this supposed "fear" of the guy? Obviously he's exalted above the status of contender, but while he was champ and before, what can be pointed to as his biggest and most impressive win that would justify his praise? I for one, see cobwebs on his resume.
im not trying to give floyd shit, if you look at my history ive always given floyd much respect, just saying that calling margaritos record is bull, since he faught many good fighters, just because you havent heard of them dont mean shit.
Floyd had 38 pro fights and those are three people.. By me throwing out 3 names who already had a name, automatically refutes your evidence in reference to your claim of "most"..
Castillo
Corrales
Hernandez
he has 38 fights so you will have to give me more then just 3.
and like i said castillo wasnt known out side of the johnston fight besides chavez sparing partner

Carlos Hernandez

^^btw, this thread definitely has nothing to do with Floyd Mayweather Jr., but rather Antonio Margarito and his level of opposition in reference to him being considered the most feared man in boxing.
i gave you a list of contendors he has beaten, if you havent heard of them then you just follow recent p4p and not individual weight rankings.
im telling you why people say margarito is feared. when the p4p king says he wont fight you because of money then fights a guy comeing of a L, it will get people talking
check floyds fights, then check his opp fights after he beat them.

Because it's cowardly, isn't it? See the cyclic double standards?
Where's your evidence for your claims that "most" fighters with a "name" who Floyd fought, earned it afterwards? I see none..

he beat the top contendors and won for the most part. he didnt hand pick his opp, he faced who he had to. he won his belt and he faught a talented mandatory.
Marg ain't beat no darn TOP contenders! LMAO! Firstly, he owned the most worthless alphabet title in the WBO and defended it against nobodies. The very first formidable challenge he got...he lost.
why did mayweather fight zab? what was zab? a loser to his mandatory but that didnt keep floyd from fighting him did it?
Floyd fought Judah to end any speculation that the Baldy fight was a fluke, so he killed two birds with one stone by beating both of them.. Besides, Floyd wasn't the champ! There are no similarities there..
He was also known as a Champion (Ring and WBC champ a.k.a THE champ) and Marg never beat a Champion before, so I'm really just trying to see your point here. As stated before also, Corrales was p4p ranked higher than Floyd when they met. Where your evidence for your claims that "most" fighter with a "name" who Floyd fought, earned it afterwards?

and i clearly answere it i said MOST. that means not all but a larg %

thats were shit talking starts, why not fight him if he is that easy of a fight? its 8 mill in the bank

He beat Cintron, which is a good win. After that ,his biggest win is against weak Six Heads Lewis. He is tall and lanky , can throw punches at weird angles, but can be outboxed. He is a fighter that won't back down and would rather stand and trade flatfooted. That is why he is not elite , the fact that he is not able to adapt and Force his way in the fight that would benefit him.
hey do you box?

do you know what most means??
castillo was good but he was known as chavez sparing partner at the time

Well then he's feared due to the actions or non-actions of other fighters who have actually accomplished something, but not feared for anything he actually did himself? Oh! Ok, It's all starting to make sense now.:)

Basically what I'm getting from your statement that the guys he beat made names for themselves after he fought them is that they were good fighters, but he was better. If they couldn't move up until he was gone then obviously its not that they weren't good; Floyd was just better. Is that what you're trying to say?
yes. after he was out of the division and they took over they became big champs, after the big talent (floyd) was out of the division
But does that make it true? Or is it more likely that some people are just looking for a reason to talk shit?
shit talking purpose mostly. im a big floyd fan if you look at my past post you can see im a floyd fan before margarito.
just like the purse split is used to say jmm is scared of pac, floyd reason for not fighting him being about money will start shit talking
do you know what most means??

Then how did he take 6 titles from 6 champs in 5 different weight classes and why was Corrales rated higher than him p4p, when they met?
do you know what most means??

but avoiding fighters because they arent a draw makes people belive that a fighter is feared. floyd said he wouldnt fight margarito because he isnt a draw. thats why people say shit like he is feared.
