De La Hoya Or Cotto?

Huge Cotto fan here, but by his 30th fight DLH had accomplished more than Cotto. But, I agree with some here, Cotto keeps winning, this upcoming fight should give us an idea.

Thats not a good fight for them to watch IMO. That fight was not against a prime or even close to prime Chavez. Both Chavez vs. De la Hoya fights were nothing but exhibition fights for De la Hoya. The Ike Quartey fight was great. I still feel Ike should have gotten the decision. I had similiar thoughts for that fight

If they fought now, definately Cotto. De La Hoya was a great fighter and i dont think Cotto has peaked yet

In your honest Opinion, who is a better fighter? I picked Oscar, Cotto might beat him NOW but not in his prime, i could just see 1 of those Left Hook/Uppercuts taking Miguel out! :nonono: Cotto wouldnt hav lasted the course with Tito either. ODH at this point in Cotto's career seems the better fighter but Miguel may keep winning big and change my mind! And i hope he duz! :boxing:

Right now, Cotto would win if they fought, but overall DLH is a legend and a great fighter. Prime DLH > Cotto right now (who might be at his peak, or might not, I don't know)

Oscar is far superior to Cotto. We shall see that come 11/10. OLD Mosley is going to tool young, prime, best he'll ever be Miguel Cotto.

A little early for that question!!!!!! Well, I just want to compile everyone's thoughts before the Mosley fight. I think that DLH is a better fighter and in a different league from Cotto. I mean Cotto is great, but not elite! Mosley beat DLH in 1.5 fights... Unless Mosley has started signs of aging (which I did not see in the Collazo fight) why do so many favor Cotto???
