Who wins the rematch? I think Taylor will win it. Usually the loser has the advantage in a rematch because they know well what they are expecting. Still wouldn't rule Pavlik out though. The same thing could happen in the rematch as the first one.
So base on those rematches, you think taylor will win?
I'm saying it happens. Atleast 50 percent of the time, if I had to guess (I'm sure I coudl point out a fight that proved that point as often as you coudl find a fight that disproved it, hence the 50 percent). I'm not saying he's correct in saying it generally happens. I'm just saying it's very rare that you find two fighters who, if they fought 20 times, would have the same guy coming out on top every time. Especially at the top level, with two elite guys.
I do, however happen to think Taylor will win with a Split decision.
Since Frazier-Ali, Morales-Barrera, Robinson-Lamotta, Gatti-Ward.. You know.. since those fights.
I'm not saying it always happens, but it's not very uncommon, to be honest. So base on those rematches, you think taylor will win?
When are Vazquez and Marquez fighting again?
Who are you taking for Williams vs Cintron? I got Williams by UD or late TKO
Not sure when they are fighting, I just know they are hoping that it's in Mexico.
And as far as the Williams-Cintron fight. I got Williams beating Cintron.
Why wont you make the Mayweather/Hatton bet. I'm giving you two guys in Vazquez and Pavlik, that are coming off of victoris to the same guys that I'm betting on. You can atleast gimme the Mayweather/Hatton bet.
No, I just want to make bets on all the fights I can and that I care about. So, I thought I'd kill two birds with one stone. If you want, it can be only one fight for now. Though, that's a long wait.
If you want Vazquez.. I'd be willing to take that one, too. Though, I'd definitely want the Mayweather/Hatton bet to be on then. Because I'm giving you TWO guys coming off WINS, in rematches.

You clearly don't have any confidence in Taylor, you know Taylor will lose and you think you can win your points back if Mayweather beats Hatton. I have already made 4 bets on Hatton and 4 bets on Mosley, that's enough for me.
How about the second bet is Vazquez vs Marquez lll, I know you think Marquez will outbox Vazquez, but I will take Vazquez by KO/TKO for 15k, unless you have another bet in mind.

I don't need all your points.. I'll bet you 10,000 that Taylor wins, though. And I'll have no problem doing that, either.
Only however, if you take my Mayweather/Hatton bet up too.. For 10,000 aswell.

Kelly Pavlik is Taylor's daddy. Kelly is an abusive father though, he uses his own son Taylor as a personal punching bag and he knocks him out cold. I honestly thought Pavlik was a nicer guy than that.
If Taylor beats Big Papi Pavlik, I will give you all of my points, but that won't happen because daddy will give his son another beating.

So, are you saying that a fighter can't make a mistake in a fight, and lose (even if it's badly) and come back and correct the mistake?
I think that Taylor could do it. I think he will. Not sure if he does or not, but I think he has what it takes to come back. Will he? Who the hell knows?
For you to assume that it's some fight that has already been won by Pavlik, is crazy. If it were THAT obvious, don't you think Taylor would have declined the rematch. He still has a shot at winning. He did defend his title 5 times (4 times successfully) in a short period of time. And he even lost like a champion. To completely sell short a brave champion, seems a little crazy.

What an absurd statement... all this Pavlik love is ridiculous.
I really think most of these Pavlik zealots are convinced that he will never lose, nor will he ever win by decision again. He KO's everyone as far as everyone is concerned on this board it seems.
I got Jermain by decision again... if he stays off the fucking ropes, and keeps his fucking hands up.
True. Kelly was almost gone at one point in the fight. I think it could go either way in the rematch.
How the fuck is Taylor getting all of these votes. Taylor has no chance in the rematch and he will be brutally KO'd again, 100% GURANTEED.
The people that are voting for Taylor are either nuthuggers or racists that will never bet against black fighters.

You know...I really thought Jermain would do in the first fight what people are saying he needs to do in this one. Keep his guard high, circle around, keep Pavlik off-balance, control the fight with his jab, and look to set up counters with the right hand. He did none of these things, at least not consistently. I guess he underestimated how tough Pavlik is. He tried to out-bull the bull rather than matador the bull. When you have won all of your fights by being able to physically impose yourself on your opponents, sometimes guys tend to do that until it fails them. Jermain Taylor is the perfect example. Jermain is a bull who came across a bigger bull and instead of using his speed and fighting experience, he tried to out-muscle him. I have a difficult time picturing Taylor doing many things differently in the second fight. The first match made me lose a lot of faith in what Jermain Taylor is capable of doing inside a boxing ring. I stayed confident in him, through the controversial draw with Wright. I shrugged off the unimpressive win over Kassim Ouma. Even the debacle against Cory Spinks, I attributed to Spinks fighting like a coward and nothing else. But the Pavlik fight has made me lose almost all belief that Jermain can adjust himself to opposition that doesn't favor his style. All of that said, I'm going with Pavlik in rematch by KO again. Everyone has the fighter they can't beat. Pavlik is Jermain's.
he fought a Taylor who got comfortable, it was evident because he was beginning to talk shit before his fights and feel like he can't lose, one thing about Taylor is he is his own worst critic, he will say after a fairly well performance that he feels he fucked up, he's very humble but he got too comfortable, he went up against a unique specimen in Pavlik and paid the price for his seasoned ways. I think that a Taylor with something to prove WILL keep his hands up, he WILL stay off those ropes, I'm pretty sure that by now he's watched that fight over 200 times even if only that 7th round.
that defeat did something to Taylor but it didn't bring him down it made him more focused, his eyes were opened and he now see's that those minor mistakes he was making and just amicably acknowledging but not doing nothing about them finally came back to haunt him, he was able to slide against the biggest opponents on his resume when doing shit like that because of those opponent's styles, they were not KO artists and couldn't make him pay, he fought Pavlik and Kelly made him pay so now Taylor just has to understand what he did wrong and adjust accordingly..
I think Jermain wins this by impressive UD, basically the same fight except without the errors, his hands will be held up high and he wont fall on them ropes and IF he does he will get up outta there.. people are putting a cloud over Kelly's head and not seeing that he CAN be hit and very hard by the right guy, Taylor IS the right guy, but even a great fighter can fall due to mistakes, I think Taylor can come back strong and out do Pavlik, Taylor shouldn't be so willing to engage, he should flex his skills and dominate the pace.. I saw a different Jermain after the fight, he didn't just lose the fight he lost his mind, he was humble but hurt enotionally as well as physically, to him it's more than titles, he would fight Pavlik for free and I think THATS what will win it for him, his determination will be sky high and I don't expect Pavlik to be any less, I would pay even 70$ to see this live as it's happening.. Taylor by UD. 100
Nice analysis. Unfortunately, when it comes right down to it, Taylor just can't handle what Pavlik brings to the table. Taylor cannot handle Pavlik's reach advantage, nor his jab. Pavlik simply jabs Taylor until the big right hand finally reaches home plate. It's just that simple. As much as I respect him, Taylor will go down again. This is the probability as I see it.

Okay... let me actually draw an arrow between your question to me answers.
Miranda beats Green + Pavlik beats Miranda = Pavlik beats Green.
Okay, that was the triangle theories don't work thing. Let me show you an example of another triangle theory that didn't work, at all.
Mosley wins twice over De La Hoya
Forrest wins twice over Mosley
Mayorga wins twice over Forrest
Mayorga should absolutely kill De La Hoya... 6 fights prove that under the triangle theory... instead, it was one of the biggest outclassings of all time by De La Hoya when he battered Mayorga for 6 and then knocked him out.
Okay... you said that Winky gets hit a ton in his defensive stance, and was knocked down multiple times in the Julio Cesar Vasquez fight.
I said that Winky wasn't using his current style back then. He developed that as a way to come forward, so he could be more popular, and hopefully get the nod from the judges in more close rounds after he lost a controversial decision to Vargas.
I also said that I have never seen Winky Wright hurt, in any fight. Tremendous defense + tremendous chin is usually not a guy who is predicted to be KO'd, which is why I am curious why everyone thinks this will be easy work for Pavlik if he fights Wright.
Did I answer your questions a little better?
Another older example:
Jerry Quarry TKO 1 Earnie Shavers
Earnie Shavers KO 1 Jimmie Ellis
so Quarry should be able to KILL Ellis right?
Nope Jimmie Ellis MD15 Jerry Quarry.
