I think Juan Manuel Marquez is going to pick Rocky Juarez apart worse than Barrera did, see Juarez got basic Boxing skills but is mainly a puncher with a lot of power so his biggest chance here is to knock Marquez out and after seeing Marquez in against Pac man I'd say thats pretty damn impossible to do, the guy is a rock to be so small, he can effectively Box you, he could knock you out, he could take your shots VERY well.. basically I just don't see Juarez doing what a more relentless puncher in Pacquiao couldn't do after 3 knock downs and 12 rounds to seal the deal.. the Marquez brothers are truly great Mexican fighters no doubt about that.. with that being said I take Marquez by late TKO.. 100

Marquez will think that Rocky's spurt's of pressure are a walk in the park compared to his toughest opponents.. He handled Barerra much better than Pac did, even when Marco was slugging. So if it's a matter of showing some old age- he hasn't shown enough to convince me.

I feel the same way, that's why I find this fight interesting. I just see Marquez having the upper hand the whole fight then Juarez landing a left hook out of nowhere that takes Marquez out. Just a gut feeling.

i dont understand how people had jmm beating barrera. If Barrera was landed more punchers per round. jmm missed alot, he threw more but missed alot more. i dont remember the punchstat numbers, but Marquez's shots were more accurate and harder. Im not saying Barrera wasnt in the fight and that Marquez dominated, cause that wasnt the case, but IMO, it was a great performance by Marquez. And also, for those who arent getting this sick feeling like i am but are looking at the fight from an unbiased stand point, i believe that Juarez really does have a shot at taking this fight. Juaruez punches hard, no doubt, and he could hurt Marquez with just one good shot. So if Marquez boxes/brawls, on paper he takes the fight easy unless he gets caught. But if he fights the wrong fight, and stays on the inside, he could definetly get caught several times and knocked out. and thats why im getting this sick feeling.
