what if: Hatton vs. Juan Diaz @ 140?

In case you haven't read my earlier posts on the subject (please feel free to look them up from recently), I have always said that the fight could've gone either way. Fights are won by winning rounds. I find it hard to believe that both Floyd and Castillo didn't win 5 rounds each. The other 2 rounds determined who won the fight. IMO, it could've gone 7-5, 6-6, or 5-7 on any given scorecard. Unlike yourself, I can judge a fight based on the scoring criteria, not based on who I would like to win. Castillo was not "robbed" in that fight. A close decision didn't go his way and anyone who doesn't see that has no credibility.

I thought I saw a different fight. Julio was delivering the crisper punches throughout the rounds. In fact, there was a time I though Juan was getting frustrated. That's why I was surprised Julio's corner stopped it; I was really thinking Julio was gonna KO Juan in the late rounds. That post shows EXACTLY how much you know about boxing. VERY, VERY LITTLE.

He was starting to get back into it but in all seriousness he was taking far too many shots to the chin. He would have been in danger should the fight have gone on too long.

Cmon man Julio Diz was a very good fighter. Julio Diaz did not fight his fight. He stood still right in front of Juan, a more mobile fighter would have given Diaz fits. If he had circled and jabbed he would have won the fight, for some reason he wanted to trade. I think Julio made Juan look better than he actually was. Hatton would be a different kettle of fish, he hits harder, he works better on the inside and he sidesteps to angle his shots.

Hatton would destroy Diaz. Seriously he's bigger, stronger and more skilled. Juan Diaz looked very good against Julio but Julio really didn't offer much back, and chose to stand and trade. Hatton could comfortably do that because his punches are harder than Juan's.

Hatton's strongest weight is obviously 140, they are both busy fighters so I would give Hatton's strength the edge and could a late stoppage. yeah, hatton is a busy fighter. busy holding and hitting and then holding again.

this would also be a great fight (of which i said about diaz and pacquiao) both of these fights would be 100% all action. hard to see a definate outcome... i think it will be 30% action and 70% holding by Hatton. Hatton is a dirty fighter. Pacman VS Diaz will be more exciting. Clean brawlers = 100% action
