Mikkel Kessler Vs Joe Calzaghe

If i had the energy i would attempt to gloat, not because i was right. But that 28 people were wrong, and i am now officially a Joe nuthugger.

Im thinking Calzaghe, but this is a close one to call. I think their styles match up really nicely, actually.

Kessler by 1st round KO! HMMMmm... I see it differently I see the fight being stopped when Kessler takes a dump in his trucks when they touch gloves before the first round

Hmmm....tough choice. I'll go with Joe. Simply because he's been with the best in his class for so much longer than the young man who'll eventually take his spot once Joe retires.

Will Calzaghe get the respect he deserves if he stops Kessler ,will we hear these fools come out and say oh Kessler was overated who has he fought etc he has already been dicredited by some haters for the Lacy performance more than likely the same people who were tiping Lacy to beat Calzaghe prior to the fight ,hindsight is a wonderfull thing eh

style wise its perfect for calzaghe, he's got someone who does the basics well but wont surprise him. I see him handling Kessler pretty easily.

Style wise a terrible mach for Calzaghe. Calzaghe will suffer when he tries to get close enough and deliver his combo's. Kessler IMO has everything it would take to spoil Calzaghe's style, and his straight right is the most accurate in the division. I asked Joe via an ESPN chat if he is concerned with Kessler's power, and he said "Not at all". He has taken punches from powerful guys before and survived. Kessler is a very good textbook style boxer, but Joe's versatility will win him this fight IMO. I'll take a quick 2000 point bet on Joey C if anyone wants to try and bankrupt me. Thats the key word ..........."versatility".

i concur, Joe's chin is one of his best assets.

This fight has so much potential. Calzaghe has the experience and spirit to win. Kessler has the style to get the victory. Both can punch, both can take it. Both fast, big and technically excellent. Fuck what my brain says, i want Joe to win.

Kessler shocks the world by dealing Calzaghe his first loss. Youth and power overcomes Joe.

my pick is kessler, too big and too strong, he fights kinda like lennox lewis, amazing jab and a lighting right hand. i dont see calzaghe closing the distance.

I really want kessler to win but i have a feeling joe will be to fast and tough for him to deal with. Joe will take kessler to a level of pain and pressure that i dont think kessler is ready for. joe pressured one of the then hardest hitters in boxing jeff lacy and beat the shit out of him for 12 rounds and i personally believe he'll do the same to kessler. If kessler somehow finds a way to beat joe then he'g going to dominate that division for a long time to come.
