I wouldn't discredit Buddy McGirt as a trainer, he's one of the best. But his comments do smack of sour grapes in this fight. After all, he was convinced that Gatti could beat Mayweather. Buddy's gotta talk shit, whats he gonna say? "Yeah Gatti is gonna lose" I remember reading this board ages ago, i think quite a few people fancied gatti by knockout cos he was much bigger. I picked floyd by TKO in 5.

I think Buddy is right. Hatton is a raging tornado but he always do the same. Body, body, body. When you find a key to block his style he suddenly transform in a easy target. Mayweather is too smart, he will win this fight with his brain.

Good point.... I Can only think of Ali/Listen I where Listen was a 5/1 favorite i believe... Liston was past his prime at that point though. Crazy to think of him and Foreman as favorites against Ali, especially Foreman with all that Ali had done to that point.

This fight is all hype. This fight should be on regular HBO. Mayweather is a BORING fighter whose only marketability is his mouth and the mouths of his training camp. They all know this, that's why they talk so much shit. He's boring to watch, yeah he's good, but boring. Hatton has limited skills, although he is tough as nails. Anyway, I see a boring fight over 12 rounds. This fight is all promotion with Oscar backing it all cuz he is looking for another HUGE payday before he rides off into the sunset.
