Prior threads started by Dios Dominicano et al....have reasonably established that Hatton beating Tszyu was a greater achievement than Floyd beating Oscar De La Hoya. You will note, that at the time of the Hatton fight Tszyu was top ten p4p (2001-2004). Oscar cannot make that claim at the time he fought Floyd. Furthermore, Tszyu had just six months earlier destroyed Sharmba Mitchell in 3 rounds. On the other hand, Oscar at 154 was beaten around. Therefore, reasonable evidence exists to justify the assumption. Oscar has lost alot of vitality in the last few years, he's clearly on the slide. On the other hand, Tszyu had retained a large portion of his skills and ferocity by the time he got to Hatton.
Accordingly, let's view Hatton's win over Tszyu in the light it deserves. This clip shows how ferocious and relentless that Brit really is. And, he was up against a HOF fighter who still had gas in the tank:
Mayweatherites, if you think Floyd Mayweather is in for a walk in the park, then I suspect you in for a very unpleasant surprise. That is Hatton at his finest and most fierce.
Pick: Hatton

I can agree Kostya was a big win but bigger then DLH im not so sure!!! Floyd moved up hatton didnt!!!
Why is it that all of these people are SURE that Hatton will win, yet for whatever reason, wont bet against Mayweather. Will, DUCK it like "Floyd ducked Tszyu."
How about we wait until the 7th and when your points have been raised we can bet them. Thank your for MANNING UP and betting though, some little boys don't have the balls to do so.
well i know hatton is the underdog. i also know that there have been upsets in boxing. i also think that hatton can give floyld the best fight ever. i mean floyld may win, but i know floyld will have to give his a game. i mean one punch can make a difference, from both of them. all i wanna see is a good fight and for hatton not to be discredited as he is or floylf being hyped up as he is. hes good to almsot great, but he aint perfect in my eyes.
If you dont understand the role 14 pnds in weight plays at this level of boxing you are following the wrong sport .
Could Hatton give Kostya 14 lbs in weight ,,,, you know as well as I do what happens .
well if you are 14lbs bigger than me but gas out in the alst 3 rounds maybe 6 imo then i'll take it. if you don't realise that the way floyld fights is defensive then therefore beig much bigger than him won't help. because floyld is small and light he is fast on his hands and feet. understand?
Unbelieveable.
You guys are really actually planning on keeping this up all the way to Dec. 8th huh?
Whatever. We'll see what happens, and props to Ricky if he can pull it off. It certainly wouldn't be the biggest upset that this sport has ever seen...but in reality, it probably won't be competitive in the least.
We'll see, I guess...in the meantime, I heard Shane Mosley and Miguelito have a fight coming up sometime soon. Anyone heard anything about that one yet?
Havent you been slapped around enough today :) mate your entertainment value has run out , tenth time around is not funny anymore .
YOU LOST
Of course. Dodging the question, again. I'm sure it won't be the last time.
But, if you can explain it, just let me know. I'll grade your paper and get back to ya.
The real ones do for sure ,,,, its fair to say if a fighter retires or has genuine legit reasons for not go after who beat them thats one thing but to fight on for years in the same division and dodging them openly thats just blatant ducking .
Are you two midgets still prattling on over here?? While you're at it, please explain to the boxing world about Floyd's business decision to sign for Gatti instead of the true champ, Kostya Tszyu.

Well, as a Floyd fan, you must be an EXPERT on ducking.
Thats true Dios , its part of being a real champion ,, if your a student of the sport we all know an ATG trys thier very hardest to get a rematch with there conquerer , it goes with the territory and history .
You two get a room please, it's getting ugly.
I actually like Kostya , thats the difference with me and you , I like him and can see what he did great and what he did shithouse ,,, you only see Sunshine and Roses ,,,, Im a fan of boxing and like a lot of fighters I dont idolize any off them , I look at them like racehorse's , can they win and whats the form , totally different perspective than you Wiley , thats why I slap you all over this board because I run on facts you run on bullshit .
No. I just talk the truth and you cannot stand it. You want to run down Tszyu because in your mind it somehow helps your hero Mayweather. The logic is incredibly convoluted. You know, you ought to be building up Hatton since you're so sure Floyd is going to win. It just makes it a greater achievement. But, you guys have taken it the other way. Well, ok. So if Floyd beats Hatton, it doesn't mean shit. But, if Hatton beats Floyd,....ooh oooh......it will be a huge collapse on the part of Floyd and will show what a fraud he must have been. So there it is.
You wont either , because his legacy is in his good public appeal thats why there are threads like this , his was well liked and was explosive in his average resume , its not in the record books where it needs to be to get into the ATG lists, its also really hampered because of Phillips and quitting against Hatton , he needed to win some really big showdowns to erase those two black holes in his career and Mitchell a shot Chavez and a young Judah dont cut it .
Cmon dude, Judah had been a pro for 5 years, he was 23 years old, a world title holder and undefeated.

Ouch! "Rodbarker" goes after Tszyu again.
The rantings of another Mayweatherite. Ho hum.
Funny that you should mention it. I've been searching high and low... Haven't seen Zoo on that list.
In fact, have you seen Zoo on ANY all-time lists?
I'm pretty sure the first man to unify the junior welterweight division in over 30 years will be on some lists pretty soon.

He's on the list of undisputed champions of the Jr. WW division. The first one to do it in 30 years. So, it will be a very short list. Keep looking Dios, you'll find it. lol
Notice you said "first fight". You know why you said "first fight"?... Because FMJ rematched Castillo....IMMEDIATELY.
That is what champions do.
I think that's why, not whay. I notice you don't dispute that Castillo OWNED Floyd in the first fight.
