Kimmels cool as shit. I think it was a little embarrassing he told Kimmel something so stupid as bet 100,000,000. But maybe that just meant "that's how sure this victory is".
The last time Britain squared off against the United staes we all know how that turned out! In an embarrassing stalemate and climbdown for both sides... Let's hope that 2007 isn't like 1812.
A stalemate huh? Laughing out fucking loud. Oy mate. No...wait.. I mean wow man.
man fool needs to shut his ugly assup. watch hell be running like a lil bitch fightnight. that or hell be doing that arm to the chest bullshit i find hilarious.
That interview was hilarious. Floyd showd a humble and funny side that is not seen from his "persona" most of the times. People are still finding a way to hate on him though, wow.
So Floyd can come off good one time in an interview. It's pretty sad that some people are considering that such a feat. It speaks VOLUMES about his fanbase. One nice interview doesnt erase a career of being a cocky, mouthy little shit that makes boring fights and talks up his bling and "man friend" 50 cent.

He was a little girly though.. Real cute and shit.
this is not country verses country, floyd is trying to do that to make people back him through patriotism. and as far as im concerned what has floyd done that is patriotic for the USA, other than act like a spoiled wanna be punk thug, the way he acts, the way he sells his fights, the things he says with complete disrespect to hype himself up, it doesn't speak for me, it doesn't represent me, it doesn't speak or represent the USA, all it does is make him look like a tit and America and Americans look bad, we have a bad rep as is, floyd just adds to the negativity.
hatton represents boxing more for me, he is a class act, and it has nothing to do with color or race and it has nothing to do with good guy verses bad guy it has to do ( for me ) core principals, integrity, respect, professionalism, and representing boxing and boxing fans, i get more of that out of hatton then i think we ever will out of mayweather.
and anyone who wants to bring up that floyd fought on the Olympic team yes he did, but don't fool yourself, someone as selfish and self centered as floyd only does things for his own gain, people like that don't fight for their countries pride, only their own, it's just the icing on the cake that they can say that it was for their country and besides getting on the olympic team is something every young amateur tries to accomplish at one stage or another, which is basically just going through the motions.
mayweather is so arrogant he probably thinks that he can knockout god!!!!!
country verses country is floyd trying to force americans to be his fan in this fight, bullshit.
i'm proud to be an American and I will fight and die for my country, but in this fight i'm going hatton all the way.
100% right on every word.

.......if you think floyd only fought in the olympics for selfish gain, thats fucking stupid, if that was the case, he would have just turned pro, he didint need the olympics. alot of amatuers guys dream is the represent their country in the olympics and only someone whos at that level, or have ever worn the flag on their back could understand the feeling of pride that comes with that, dont be stupid
far from stupid, like i said its the icing on the cake when it comes to representing your country in floyds case, and seriously it is what 99% of young amateurs do when they're in the Am's, while they're gaining experience for the pro's they get a look into the world stage by fighting in the olympics. what i'm saying is that floyd is not a guy that is motivated by his country's pride, he is not motivated by fighting for his flag, he is motivated in fighting for money and a level of status, nothing more. the only thing floyd represents is himself and only himself. that is what i'm getting at, even back when he was the same way, you might not know but my friends went to the same school as floyd out here in vegas, he hasn't changed a bit. and don't think for a second you can go by what he says in his interviews, you might as well believe every tabloid and every politician if that is the case.
the fact remains the same whether floyd wanted to fight for his country's pride or not, he is using patriotism to gain fans because he doesn't have the same kind of fan base as hatton. he is using this ploy to gather as many people as he can that are going to root for him just because he's fighting a Brit. it's cheap it's cheesy and it pisses me off that he would stoop to such a level where this is how he gains his following.
if floyd is so patriotic how come we're hearing all this mess now and not when he was fighting other guys from other countries???? he's fought other guys from other places and yet it was never country verses country, they're trying to use the revolutionary war to spark interest in this fight for people who aren't boxing fans, floyd is just trying to tap into the DWTS market and gather up more sales. which is fine, there is nothing wrong with trying to get more but the fact is he don't care about shit other than money..........oh and his bling too.

I'm from UK n i hope ricky leaves the ring a bloody mess n floyd wins
Is that you in the picture?, u look a right twat dont take your anger out on hatton because you live in a dump.
Most americans past 30 don't like Floyd.
It's the teenage boxing fans vs. the rest.
the reason why this post is a lie is because of the fact that most people under 30 wouldnt be able to appreciate his boxing ability in the first place and would find his last couple fights to be "boring", last 2 fights i mean, his fights against judah/mitchell/gatti were pretty exciting.
regardless, alot of older black boxing fans adore mayweather to the fullest because he reminds them of whitaker.
also, be honest
how many teenage boxing fans do you know

Ha.
What are you basing this logic on?
Who do you see cheering for Floyd? The younger you are the more bling you have to wear to feel important right? I can respect you trying to stick up for Floyd as much as you have on this thread, but it is a losing battle. IF Floyd is the 2nd biggest draw in boxing, that says more about the sad state of boxing then it does about how popular Floyd is. Ive watched boxing my whole life and I have yet to meet ANYONE who rooted for Floyd in any of his fights. But then again none of my friends are wannabe gangsta's.
