i mean his fights are not Gatti-Ward Kinda wars. but they are entretaining in their own way. but he is pretty skillful, and has fought some pretty good figthers. but people keep saying he is not even "good" just because he doesnt stand infront of the guy who wants to knock his fucking head off.
im not comparing but didnt this fella named peep do something around that way i mean he did have some crazy kos but Floyd also fucked Gatti and Corrales up. im not sure if Peep was hated during his prime as much as floyd is.
but come on guys shouldnt we have a more non biast view of floyd, maybe he is not Sugar Ray Robinson. but he is a hell of a figther. isnt he??
thats what i hate PBF nuthuggers ,do you honestly think PBF is capable of handling an Elite fighter like he is at handling Baldomir ,Gatti ,Mitchell do you think he would dominate someone like Mosely the way he did Corrales rip
Corrales would'nt have beateen Mosley on his worst day ,Dela Hoya proved PBF will not dominate Elite fighters the way he did Gatti etc
grow up
Of course not at 154 pounds, at 147 Floyd will handle Hatton. :boxing:
He also got a Split decision over a faded fighter.
So that kind of takes the shine off the achievement.
It is fair to say Floyd is a very good fighter but he has yet to prove his worth against consistant young hungry contenders.
He is making a start with Hatton.
But this should have been arranged at 140 before he went up the weights to fight faded stars of yesteryear.
He has time to settle the debate but whether he will or not is another question.
At the moment he will be remembered as a skillful artist who did very well at 130 & 135.
As it stands at 140 and above he has yet to fight a real solid young champ or contender.
Can he rectify this....Nobody knows ....
Now now, you couldn't prove that in the last thread. So now for every one on here......................tell us who Floyd needs to fight and who he ducked...
When questions of this nature come about. In some instances we can elude to the some of the greats.
No fighter receives their just do until he has suffered a humbling/ humiliating loss as the the prime years have slipped away.......Or until a fighter has spiraled towards self destruction, and/or exhausted all his monetary assests. No matter what a fighter of his caliber accomplishes there will always be a (?)

..................................The answer is HELL NO. :twak:
no fighter really gets the credit they deserve until they are at the end of their career and we can really have the time to assess what they have done and who they have beaten. floyd gets the respect he deserves in some instances, but there are some things he brings upon himself that overshadow his in-ring acheivments.
very accurate statement ,karma sent
he doesnt get the credit he deserves! Hopefuly when he demolishes hatton people will start to realise no matter who he fights he will beat them, the only way floyd will loose is if he hangs around to long

your joking are'nt you he gets to much respect i aint saying Dela Hoya is a better fighter but he has a comparable record to PBF when it comes to beating Good fighters
Hopkins record is by far better than PBF he might be a different weight but the level of oposition he has dominated is far superior to PBF ,

Nah im a Dela Hoya fan but PBF won that fight by 1 round on my card maybe 2 ,
any Mulitple weight Champion is great fighter IMO, it takes a good fighter to win a world title it take very good fighter to win more than 3
Knocking down Chico and Gatti does not a great fighter make.
And who the fugg is Peep?
come on if Dela Hoya is a great then surely PBF is aswell after all he has beaten him and done mulitple weight divisions like him
