I believe Castillo may have taken a dive against Hatton, not that Hatton doesn't have the skills to beat him. But he wasn't making any money on that fight, so there really wasn't much motivation. What were the betting odds on Hatton knocking him out? maybe he bet against himself and made money that way. Since boxers can bet on themeselves. Just a theory...who knows.
Interesting theory...you never know I guess. It's too bad to see a fighter like Castillo having to continue fighting past his prime just to have some money for his family and retirement. I hope he has a good fight and gets that final shot and payday.
Give a guy his last chance! He's been gettying fucked over with his money lately, He deserves one more chance at a belt and to make some money before he retires.

Castillo is a very shot fighter; we all saw it against Hatton. But like many boxers before and after him, his financial situation is such, that he has to fight to make a living…
I wish him the best…:fing02:
What happened to Victor Ortiz-Ricardo Torres if Ortiz beats Maussa on the Cotto-Mosley undercard?
Top Rank may be protecting themselves in case Ortiz loses to Maussa, because there's a whole lot more future in Ortiz than in JLC.
Hmm...I hope he looks good. I'm not sure he can look good at 140...or any weight class. His freshness might be gone. But maybe moving to 147 would help a bit. Who knows?
Maybe he can beat Torres if he looks good vs Casillas.
