to understand the discision of the fight you have to see what things the judge may have look at the made it possiable because there are many close rounds in which the judge could have seen Daivd Diaz pushing the action and not affected by Morales punchs, take out the swollen eye and look at some of the facts without being emotional.
Yes Morales boxed well but also Daiz brawled and kept moving forward. Morales was like the Matador and Diaz like the bull which he was coming close and putting Morales into the ropes in many parts of the fight.
Each person see the fight differently but you gotta understand why the discision when that way.
Although they may not be accurate, alot of judges go for the aggressor!

How did Morales faded away in the later rounds? He won rounds 9, 10 imo. With round 11 going either way. I'll give Diaz round 12 though, but by that time I had Morales way ahead. And Morales punch output was just as much as Diaz, it was just bad judging.
Exactly right, just bad judging. Diaz got a 10-8 in round of a slip that the ref ruled.
well dlh was busy enough what happened there.....erik won the fight
Hold up, your saying Oscar was busy enough down the stretch Rounds 9-12 against Floyd?!???
Wowwwww.
And by the way, even when Oscar was busy during the beginning and middle of the fight, you do know that Oscar's flurries when Floyd was pinned weren't landing don't you?
Either way, both Oscar and Erik LOST against Diaz and Mayweather.
Believe me I would have loved for both of those fights to have went the other way, but I can accept it.
I went to the fight and just thought Erik wasn't busy enough.
Especially down the stretch.
Erik would have easily been able to spin out and go to work on David Diaz but he couldn't do it physically.
Diaz was just too busy.

Wow.
Who's the retard now?
Apparently not me because the judges along with most in attendance saw it the same way.
Name 1 person besides yourself that saw it a Morales win by 5 points or more.....I'm waiting.
Morales faded in the later rounds... Too much pressure from Diaz and no more legs for morales. The decision was good. No controversies.

I just re watched this fight the other night. I wish Terrible got this one, he displayed the better boxing skill. He was a victim of bad judges.
I wish the HBO team was there that night. I would have loved to heard leadermans card.
