Do You All Think That Hotton Will Have A Problem Landing Shots On Mayweather????????? Or Do U Think He Will Land Shots As Easy As He Did With Castillo Or Kostya Tszyu? Just Wondering What U All Thought Of That
The more I think about this fight, and re-watch both fighter's recent bouts, I'm concerned that Mayweather might seriously hurt Hatton, really. I don't see Hatton landing much of anything cleanly on Floyd and expect he'll get tagged easily and often as he comes in swinging at air.
I don't imagine Floyd will be staying in one place long enough for the short-armed Hatton to bang away. It'll be a mid-ring affair, with Floyd once again showing why he's Champ, landing at will and moving the whole time. Then, once Hatton starts getting frustrated, he start losing points for dirty shit and Floyd will decide to really open up and give a clinic.
Stoppage with Hatton on the ropes taking bad bad shots to the head, through his gloves, bleeding badly from cuts on both sides of his face.
Don't get me wrong. Hatton will be aggressive and willing and ready, but he just won't be effective.
By the way, I loathe Floyd, but can't deny his greatness at the fight game.
Sums it up, a lot of people try to ignore that.
Hatton's going to be tough opposition but as far as him winning, he's going have to pull a rabbit out of the hat to beat someone of Mayweathers caliber.

good post man. i agree with your assessment of the fight. im in the same boat man i been re-watching all their fights recently on youtube and mayweather is gonna beat on hatton like he did gatti (no offense to the hatton fans) too fast, too smart. hatton is gonna give floyd a fight tho early on, but in the later rounds it is inevitable ricky will be beat like a waschloth...
If they are wearing the 10 ounce then I dont think Hatton will be able to put his punches where he wonts to!! What do you guys think???Im just watching the Hatton Vs Urango fight and the 10 ounce are up to his elbow,,

if he cuts off the ring well and the very few times he lands early he hits with all 59 points of that S.P.A.R.Q test then maybe later he will be able to land more continuously still having trouble but still he would be landing something, Floyd wont stay stil, not to say he's not gonna be in front of him but one swing from Ricky and he's right next to him with a straight right hand that will feel like shots of Smirnoff to Ricky after a while, he will be hit worse than what Collazo hit him the only worry I have is that Ricky DOES land that 1 punch to chance the tempo of the fight, he CAN very well do that then it's a whole different ball game, if he seriously hurts Floyd it CAN be a wrap but Floyd is a master boxer so it doesn't necessarily mean it WILL be a wrap.. as for the title question, YES, he's going to have a problem and a big one but IF he can land some good ones it could get interesting.. 100
Uh, anyone who has ever laced up the gloves would have a problem hitting Mayweather, like kball is saying. And this is coming from most assuredly someone who is not a PBF fan, though I think it's obvious he has immense talent.
Don't everybody have a hard time hitting him, what makes Hatton any different. He ain't 1/2 as good nor as big as some of Floyd's opponents. The better question is will Hatton be able to avoid some of the punishment that he is going to take Dec 8th
