Man, Samuel Peter is one of the strongest men P4P in boxing. By that I mean spiritually. The guy has such impressive inner strength. He doesn't believe he can be knocked out, and so he can't. He believes one of his punches could knock down a house, and so it is true. Take a lesson from this kid, because he's gonna show the world what a little boy from Nigeria can do with faith and self esteem.
all u need is belief in urself, he's gonna be a champion
yeah until he fights klitschko and loses. after that he will be lucky to pick up the WBO strap and hold it for awhile
wlad klitschko beats sam peter 9 times out of 10
everyone else id give peter at least a 50 percent chance of knocking off, hes good and his best strength is his chin, but he liable to be outboxed by many guys.
in fact, now that i think about, id bet on toney thompson to beat him by decision
Peter is a massive unit with awesome power! However, he isn't a 'PURE' fighter and certainly not 'Old School'! I reckon he's gonna have trouble with Maskaev. Maskaev KOd Rahman twice which nobody picked and he's been on a roll the Old Log. Peter had troubles with former Middleweight Lights Out and 'Weak Chin' Williams doesn't even count. I wish he was fighting Jack Dempsey, 2nd Round KO for the 'Manassa Mauler'! Put the house on it!
Peter just don't have the height man. if he was 6'3-6'4 he has the weight to support it as he is. But Wlad vs. Peter rematch definetly won't happen, Peter is gonna be WBC champ as long as Vitali doesn't come back. He'll beat McCall and Virchis or maybe he'll fight Gomez instead of McCall and knock him out.
how do you figure that? number 1,,,,2 of the 3 knockdown calls were clearly bogus. number 2,,,wlad has shown steady improvement over his last several fights against good comp,,whereas peter has shown improvment over just his last fight over a clearly shot james toney. if odds have changed since there last meeting it would seem to go even more in wlads favor,,espescially considering there last fight ended with peter doing the funky judah. I think peter gets stopped in a rematch
....He would definitely get stopped in a rematch. Wlady would be better prepared for Peters dirty tactics, he knows exactly what he's up against, he has improved his arsenal and his defense, and his confidence is sky high. Peter would get bloodied and battered and dropped for good between 9-10.
Sadly I credit THAT improvement to the fact he was fighting a 5'9'' fat guy who he seriously outreached and had no Pop to keep him Honest.. Kind of Like if Floyd put on 60lbs of FAT and then challenged Jeff Lacy.. That would not suddely vault Lacy into the P4P # 1 postion because he would win.. now would it???
Comparing Peter to Lacy? Yeah I knew you couldn't give any credit.
I credit Klit with a win and he deserves it. You cannot credit improvement when it is so clearly obvious.

3 knock downs in one fight....that's a lot of 'flukes'.
2 of them were BLATANT rabbitt punches.. The real Fluke was how they were scored Knockdowns and Not a warning and then point deduction..
Dont tell me to give credit.. when you are incapable of doing the same..

It must be because Peter is Black...
or maybe I was just building my previous thread.. which I though yours was responding to.. After all that is Usualy what happens on discussion boards:pat:
No merely giving credit where credit is due. You should try it one day.
I like Sam and he's improved very dramatically last outting. That said Maskaev is no joke. However any amount of improvement in Sam moves him from scary to actually dangerous.
The clubbing Sam of old gave Klitscko serious pause and dropped him more than once. The current Sam with more tactical smarts and some technique = even worse day for Klitschko.

I said nothing about a guarantee. So your completely out of context reply makes no sense.

LOL.. I was wondering what was the use for that contentious reply; he seems to just want to discredit Peter by any means. The way I see it, he knocked Wlad down 3 times when no one else has done that and is the first to beat Toney in years! Therefore, he has more than a "puncher's chance" and ideas to the contrary are simply over critical imho..
Corrie Sanders Knocked Wlad down 4 times.. :wtf:
I dont think he's that great. Just strong, raw.
he's minus 600 against Maskaev (you'd need to law down some serious cash to win a substantial amount at that, -60%.)
I think you get +450 the other way.
