Basically all the major ones have been said but the most recent was Quartey and Forrest. Even the crowd was chanting bullshit when the decision was announced. That one was terrible.
Lewis - Holyfield 1 already mentinoned, I can't remember a more clear cut win for one fighter(lewis) and having it become a draw.
Chavez-Taylor always gets people talking
Stupidest judging? That one judge that cost Pacquiao a win over Marquez when he scored the 1st round 10-7 when it should've been 10-6. A fucking 8th grader could've done that shit!
dude, corrales got knocked down with one solid clean shot each time he got dropped in that round. castillo was out on his feet and was going to get killed had the ref let it go any further. seriously i'm a fan of both and who ever was on the receiving end of that volley should have been saved castillo or corrales, only a bad things would have happened had the ref not stopped it.
castillo would've gotten hit like 4-6 more times had he stayed on his feet any longer, with each shot getting harder and harder. it was the only right move for the ref.Obviously we don't share the same perspective, but we can certainly agree to disagree.
Peace.
Roy Jones gettin' fucked at the olympics must be the worst decision ever in the universe. I demand a rematch! Is it true they didn't even use a lubricant?
? All three judges definately had Taylor well ahead.
I'm pretty sure a referee can't be accused of robbing a fighter if the fighter doesn't even attempt to answer his question after a knockdown. Controversial? Yes. Robbery? No.
No one Judge had Chavez ahead brother, but Taylor would have still won a split decision.
Speaking of Chavez I would say Whitaker-Chavez was a robbery.
Haven't seen that one, really want to. Is it a good fight? Entertaining? Mayweather-Baldomir like? I'm curious.
fantastic fight imo. You get to see how skilled Pernell really was, especially as an inside fighter. and contrary to most peoples reports on that fight, the fight was not completely one sided, altho it got like that as the fight went on. you also get to see Whitaker piss off Cortez.
imo the worst robbery, if not the BIGGEST one, was Augustus-Burton 1. what the heck was goin on in that fight i dont know. Roy Jones gettin robbed in the Olympics was almost just as bad.
________
Toyota 1/X
It was a fucked up ending...very controversial. Other bottom line is, Taylor took one hell of a beating in that fight...ruined his career. Plus, he eventually had his chance for redemption in the rematch.
Speaking of Chavez and robberies though: Chavez-Whitaker! Sweet Pea was robbed of the win by the fight being declared a draw.
I had to repost my reply from last night concerning the Chavez-Taylor fight 'cause people keep bringing it up. Taylor deserved his victory, no doubt, but Chavez was systematically breaking him down and did what he had to do to win. It's too bad the knockdown and stoppage didn't occur at the beginning or halfway through the round. There'd never be any controversy if it had happened that way. But I guess we wouldn't be here talking about it as much if it had happened like that!
I'd have to say my fight against David Haye. I was giving Haye a lesson. Then at the end of the 1st round, Hayes corner put sand on his gloves and he tried to blind me. When that didn't work the ref jumped in to save him and awarded HIM the fight.
David Haye is a cheat and a coward.
I heard the ref kept on giving haye time out session of upto fifteen minutes just so his corner could IV some more oxygenated blood into his system, is this true?
meldrick taylor shud of won how can u stop a fight when theres only 3 seconds left when hes going to win thats not enough time to even land a punch lol.
i think lewis - evander draw was robbery
So was roy jones jr in olyampic final everyone knows it was robbery.
