Whether you like or dislike Hatton, you have to admit that he holds and hits (which is illegal in boxing) nonstop and is rarely warned for it. Against the #1 rated boxer in the world, will the referee(whoever they may be) allow Hatton to cheat like he has in his last handful of fights?
after about the 4th round hatton will stop rushing..or holding.....
Easy fight for mayweather............
Don't know if it will be easy, but I'm expecting him to win.
Well, I'm not really concerned about the ref because PBF won't allow it. PBF dictates this fight, no question. He's the Grand Master, and Ricky is the pawn.
Mayweather has never had any complaints about his elbows and forearms, stop making shit up..
Mayweather had a point deducted for elbowing Castillo in the tenth.
"anything illegal he does is accidental as far as i have seen"
accidental?
come on are you kidding?
what do you call grabbing a guy by the waist and spinning him around? done in the Kostya and Urango bouts
to me the above looks very intentional
I don't see how someone can accidentily grab someone by the waist and spin them .. explain that one please.
Its Joe Cortez so he will let him hold but not cheat cause Hatton is a good guy anything illegal he does is accidental as far as i have seen and i have most of his (and floyds) fights on DVD
I don't know if he's done it earlier in his career, the beginning of my reference started in the Kostya Tszyu fight. If you've seen his fights, you know he's been holding and hitting every chance he gets. Less than 30 seconds into the JLC fight he started.

I also think the ref will allow them to just fight, he will break up the clinch but the majority of the time he will let them fight.
Who is the ref tonight?
And throwing elbows and pushing people off with elbows, sometimes in the throat is not?:ugh:

The ref should pay attention to Hatton holding and hitting. It's not a small detail, it's cheating.

clinching shoul dbe allowed as long as u dont do it ALL THE TIME..
leniox lewis used to clinch agaisnt tyson, if he could 'n`t clinch you he couldn`t win the figt as tyson wanna work on the inside all the time, if lewsi is backed yup whats he gionna do?
Joe Cortez allowed Hatton to fight his fight against Castillo and he should allow Ricky to to do the same against Floyd. Hopefully Floyd doesn't try to run like Sweat Pea all night.
Hatton works out of the clinch which is perfectly legal. Deal with it!
Cortez also allowed Mayweather to fight his fight against Castillo. When Castillo was in his prime.

This is a world championship fight, ref won't pay attention to every detail or else the crowd will boo him and no ref wants that. Just let them fight, stop this ref shit...

For once in my life, he would be my referee of choice for this fight. I usually like Richard Steele, but this is a fight made for Jay Nady.
Jay Nady refereed the Roy Jones/John Ruiz fight. Ruiz complained after the fight that the feferee wouldn't let him fight his fight. His style is to hit his opponent and then hold before his opponent can counter. Nady wouldn't allow that and since Ruiz had no plan B, Jones took Ruiz to school for 12 rounds. If Hatton doesn't have a plan B and I doubt he does, this will be a short, easy night for Mayweather.
