I have a question, what ever happend to Abner Mares? I remember he had a lot of hype surrounding him, but i havent heard sh!t from or about him in a while.
i know but when a fighter cannot continue because of cuts automatically is a tko victory of the other fighter i don't understand still..but he did fought pretty shitty.
true, like i said i dont really remember the stoppage so i cant comment on it. I have the fight on dvd ill have to find it and watch it again.
I would, I think he'll pick it up and get a few decent wins in in the next year-2 years.
What about Kiko Martinez, who just knocked out Bernard Dunne?
Your sig lists Baldomir as active, but he just retired after fighting Forrest
Would you consider Miguel Huerta a prospect???

i remember i was half asleep when i seen that fight so i barely remember. Santiago looked a little off that night but he was doing good. As far as the stoppage, i dont even remember lol. Santiago should have fought better that night tho.

Yea Quillin is half Cuban and represents it a lot.
But i dont even think he speaks spanish, and where im from your not really accepted unless you know spanish.
I AGREE
no one said Roman "Rocky" Martinez?
Juan Carlos Salgado?
Giovanni Segura?

I like Giovanni Lorenzo, too... I've seen him in the gym before and he has crazy power... But I think a lot of people have unjustly written off Santana. The kid is gonna go places... He's had a couple of bad breaks but if he gets the opportunity, he's gonna make his mark. I've been waiting for either him or El Gato to lay Salita out for a long time.
Yea i was pretty big on him. Hopefully the loss to Velazquez makes him a better fighter in the long run.

One more promising prospect is Mario Santiago.. He's a southpaw trained by Evangelista Cotto and he shows a lot of promise.

Is Raul Martinez the cat who fought that Colombian guy on ShoBox when he had a huge cut and begged for one more round, they gave him the round and he knocked the guy out? I like that kid too.

Raul Martinez
Vicente Escobedo
Abner Mares
Julio Cesar Garcia
cant think of any right now..

Good list, but how about Victor Ortiz and Edgar "El Chamaco" Santana? I know Santana recently lost but the kid has a lot of talent and power. I think he is gonna make SERIOUS noise.. Ortiz has a promising future as well..
