I saw Mike Tyson in person back in 1986 in the Village. I didn't say a word to him, he just nodded his head, like as if to say "what's up". either that, or he was probably saying...."whatta-lookin-at"!! He didn't have a body guard. Mike Tyson said it best when he said..."after knocking somebody out in 30 seconds, I sometimes carry the adrenaline outside with me". I know what that feels like when you come home from the war zone...you want to go FAST, and HARD! I think he learned how to "TURN-OFF" the switch.

Nice find Iron Man - That's the side of Mike we all like, remember when he was knocking out guys, and he was the 1st to help them up and ultra polite and respectful during interviews. Shame he was such a jeckyl and hyde in and out of the ring, you never knew which was gonna show. Despite my avatar, I have a weird sense of humour, he was one of my favourite fighters and could have been one of the greatest. But he just makes it in the top10 for me. I would love to talk boxing with him all night long, just to see where he rates himself and the heavyweights he fought and about the history of boxing. Thanks again for sharing that, really enjoyed it.
