Peep this video with Zab and Rampage Jackson (from the UFC)
http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing/index
and Zab said that MMA is more exciting than boxing.
I'm sorry it may not be as exciting to him because he is always getting knocked out! Espn could have picked someone who hasn't lost his last 3 or 4 fights to represent boxing. Zab looked intimidated by rampage.
Although I must admit it was funny when Rampage said "Yeah I watched De La Hoya vs Mayweather and I was the only one knocked out in that fight; I fell asleep!" LOL!
Zab judah is a punk, the only top 10 ranked fighter he has beat in the last few years is Spinks. judah will never again be a force in boxing, he is fighting now for the money
Zab and Rampage were promoting their next fights - Zab fights Sept. 7, Rampage Sept. 8
It's just timing that got those guys into the interview - not that they are the best representation of their sports...
the video was funny, it better than seeing Mayweather act like a bitch. Zab Judah is real nice guy, down to earth. I wouldn't wanna piss off a 205lbs UFC fighter if i were 150lbs guy.. would you?
What was he going to do... attack Zab? I'm not saying he punked out, but if not wanting to piss off a 205lbs UFC fighter was the reason then he did punk out.
It was a cool little tape - I really like Zab, he seems like a pretty nice person under the image.
Can you imagine Wlad pounding on that MMA guy though, he would be a tiny heavyweight, better off sticking to the boring MMA.
Man they both hated DLH vs PBF. Am I the only one who liked it? Sure it wasn't Marquez vs Vazquez 2, but it was still entertaining. People expect to much out of fights.
Listen guys I'm saying Zab went out like a punk because I believe his answer was because he didn't want to argue with Rampage. He basicially kissed Ramp's and MMA's ass. I believe if Rampage would have told Zab to go get him some coffee he probably would have replied "Yes Sir Mr Rampage"
I don't see why in the world anyone would call him a punk for stating his opinion, which I agree with actually. MMA is more exciting, but the reason that I like boxing more is due to aesthetics and the art. The bob and weave, the counter punch, the pressure fighter, the calculated punches, the ring movement and generalship, and most of all, the 12 rounds! MMA is exciting, but a bout is usually over in less than 3 minutes. He is also telling the truth when he says that he wouldn't last 30 seconds in an MMA bout, because he wouldn't! And conversely Rampage conceded that if he fought any top heavy weight boxers he'd be "swallowing teeth" and wouldn't get in the ring with someone like a Klitchko unless it was for 20 million. Why is he not a punk when actual bums have fought Klitchko for much less? Because that wasn't a punk thing to say; it is realistic! Just like what Zab was saying.
Did yall want Zab to be confrontational or what? I mean Zab is 147, i doubt hes going to be stepping to a professional fighter that weighs over 200 pounds. He didnt go out like a punk, he was just saying if they take him down he would want no part of it. You can easily say Rampage was more of a punk saying it would take him 20 mill to fight Vitali, and saying he would lose teeth, it was just a easy going interview, nothing punk about it.
Zab didn't look scared, but I don't think he wanted to be asked leading questions that will provoke arguments. Asking those type of questions are never smart and are immature imo.
Both were pretty calm and collected. They mostly agreed with each other so it didn't turn out to be much of a debate. I guess ESPN wanted them to argue like the little kids on this site do.
Zab didn't go out like a punk. He was cool as was Rampage. He told the truth and both were realistic. I was laughing during the whole video.
