If he cant beat Kessler, he should call it a day.
Ive just realised this fight is only 1 month away?
Time flies eh.
Isn't the fight 11 weeks away or have they brought it forward? i know the Haye-Mormeck fight has been delayed by two months, but heard nothing about Kessler/Calzaghe.
If Joe wins he goes up in weight and fights a bunch of fringe LHs while calling out Hopkins and Tarver. If he loses he goes up in weight and the likes of Hopkins and Tarver line up to fight him.
Yeah, just about. I might look into it, a few of the Sunderland games are on Setanta this year, as well as all the boxing of course.
Yeah the top up tv website has it all i think, all the adaptor is a thingy you plug into the back of your box or tv, then you just put the card in the adaptor i think.
Ive had calls about this at work, a few people are trying to get it on top up now, obviously you know the same costs still apply as if you had Satellite
I have a freeview box, but no card. Hence why I got fucked during the Hatton fight.
You can buy a top up tv adaptor i believe, which should come with a card anyways, so if you like you can still get it i think.
Besides, you dont need the card anymore now, the old boxes (like the one i once had) used to use them, now the signal gets decoded by the machine and through the ariel.
If that makes sense.
Fucking hell, I had no idea. Wonder how many tickets they've sold so far.
Plenty i expect,
For those of you who wish to watch it on Setanta, you can now get that channel through a freeview box using top up tv, you dont need sky or cable.
Just incase.
bh i hope he actually gets 2 or 3 more big fights after. he's a champion that i feel has the actually ability to be so much more than what he is now. he's someone i can actually say is elite in his division and could have achieved more where as someone like hatton is achieving the best he can.
:boxing: What do you think Calzaghe's next move would be if he loses? America maybe?:boxing:

Depends on the manner of his defeat. If its a close loss in an exciting match, expect a lucrative rematch (I think that Kessler is the kind of fighter who would do that...not least because there arent huge amounts of high-profile options in that division). If its a flash loss or a fairly non-competetive affair, expect him to move up a division and there are a few worthwhile fights he could take, he could easily claim that he is no good at making that weight any more. If he takes a Lacy-esque beating, I'd expect him to consider retirement.
I think he'll most likely retire if he loses to Kessler. Sure there could still be good money in fighting an american name. A rematch with Kessler isn't unthinkable either. But i lean towards Calzaghe losing motivation and calling it a day.
