vasquez is a top class fighter no doubt, hes been in some great fights, and has great skll and a better heart and will. did anyone c his second fight with larios? what a fight!

before RAFA came to super bantam he was the MAIN MAN and i guess after their rematch Israel is the MAIN MAN AGAIN!! the 3rd ONE will be even sweeter!!!

i just watched the rematch, and i didnt knew who won so i was really excited about this fight. and wow....vasquez is an amazing boxer. im really suprised that he was so underrated, cos on the first fight i thought he did a great fight too, just bad luck on the nose. definitly one of my favorite fighters....this is the kind of boxers i admire the most, the ones that always goes forward and only think on winning, no matter how hard the situation is. and marquez is a great warrior too... now to wait for the third fight =D....

i think he is one of the few great champion in this sport. i hope after the rubber match. he could hopefully go up in weight fight in 126 or 130lbs to fight Chris John or Pac.

oh ok.....there is already talk on another site that gary shaw has confirmed that the rubber match will take place in february......here we go again......

didn't vasquez get caught cheating saturday night? he was told to rewrapp his gloves or something to do with tape....i missed the undercard but marquez camp was pissed at something....... no they thought he was cheating but an official watched them unwrap and rewrap his hands and they were fine. But marquez was upset about something, im not sure what though

AND TO MAKE THNGS BETTER HIS DEFENSE IS A LITTLE SHAKY. It was brilliant how he put Marquez on his heels the entire fight. Just brilliant. He musta watched the Austin fight. Austin had him leaning on his heels and did well against him. Vazquez executed it perfectly.

Marquez will win the rematch..............hopefully. I always liked Marquez's guts and power

He is definitely great to watch. But I think if Marquez boxes more than brawls, he can win. But toe-to-toe Vasquez has him beat. I also think it was a premature stoppage....although thinking about it if the fight had not of been stopped then Marquez might of won because of the bad cuts on Vasquez - and if that was the case, we might not be having a third fight.

He's a cool dude who seems pretty legit. I liked the way he handled his nose situation in the first fight, not wanting to take away credit from Marquez until it was time to hype the 2nd fight, at which point it's not only an excuse, it's the appropriate thing to do to build interest, motivate yourself and get your opponent pissed off, which it did. Marquez was fuming on Saturday and got KO'd maybe because of it.

He's been HIGHLY underrated for far too long now, hopefully more people give him the respect he deserves

His fight with Gonzalez was a good one. I thought Gonzalez' jab had him beat and Johnny KD'd him, what, 3 times? Vazquez found a way to win, tho, and spectacularly. Same against Marquez. I had Rafa winning the first fight but Izzy was catching up before he had to quit. He showed what he learned in the last fight this time around, tho. I cannot see a rubber match ending any differently than the fight last night. BTW, round 3 HAS TO BE round of the year, so far. It's definitely a top 5 all-time ROTY, too.

he look like the guy from Saturday Night Live that is alway a good thing to look like a celebritiy. but as for hardest and niciest i never seen him in person so i cant judge. Is Freddie Roach still training him?
