just put this on another post, what if the judges were not at ring side but were watching the fight on a monitor, they could be anywhere in the world, and nobody should no who they are until the first bell goes, no crowd home decisions, would this work i thing it would I disagree with that cause I feel in order to properply judge a fight you should be right there to catch all the action.

no more judges fight to the death not a bad idea, but i think if the judges score a terrible fight, they should have to fight the guy they just screwed, to the death.................

there is a Court of Arbitration for Sport. in europe, and i think most sports across europe adhere to their decisions, why can't the alphabet organisations sign up, it is impartial and fair with senior judges running it this would work, but i can't see the organisations signing up poss push them father apart, but i think it would work.

Shut up McKay. That's a conspiracy theory at best. The NFL had no problem filling their blocks before and most replays aren't cut into by commercial break. Yeah, It's just a conspiraracy theory, at best, as you say. It's obvious by watching any NFL game that integrity for sport is their number 1 priority.

I think there should be a review panel in place if a fighter truly feels he was robbed in a decision and the majority of ring side writers have the scores differently than the judges then he should be allowed to have the fight reviewed and rejudged, i.e. Bhop-Taylor 1, or Winky - Taylor, if without a shadow of a doubt the scores where accurated then nothing happens but if they panel decides the outcome was fishy then the judges are suspended for a year, and the decision is overturned. Now we all know this will never happen because it clearly destroys the pristine image that all the organizations try to uphold in the public's eye, even though we all know it's tainted already.

There's no judging system that can be put in place that wouldn't be flawed.. but Boxing does need some sort of peer review in the future though. There are enough independent sporting bodies out there that could handle this and don't need money, so can't be swayed. Bad decisions leave a terrible taste in my mouth, and fights should be subject to getting overturned where warranted after the fact. I don't know why this is such a taboo thing to have in sports. It's not the same thing, but the NFL's instant replay is so kick ass now. I remember when there were folks who thought it would make the game worse. Some of the games gone to the wayside via poor calls or non calls by the refs were absolutely terrible pre-replay. If all your concerned with is advertising space and filling yoru time slot, that's all it's there for.

the idea is bullshit.. essentially its the same system in place. just spitballing, can you come up with something, or should it be left the way it is, it is great for forums when someone gets shafted but it does piss you right off, would appeal panels work
