With Chagaev canceling, Wlad now has the opportunity to unify two of the other three belts in his next two-three fights. He can fight Chagaev in November or December since Chagaev will magically be ok from his stomach flu by then. Ibragimov has already stated his goal is to fight Wlad, so as long as he gets by Holyfield, that fight looks probable. I'm not familiar with the WBO though and assume he'll probably have to fight a mandatory before Wlad, which sucks. Meanwhile Wlad won't have to fight his IBF mandatory for a while since they are having a tournament that will take two nights of fights to complete. His schedule should be as follows and ONLY as follows
1) Chagaev
2) Ibragimov/IBF mandatory
3) Ibragimov/IBF mandatory
4) WBA mandatory
Yeah, and your not his fucking dad; like I said before he's 44 years old, old enough to make his own decisions. He himself even said he's felt better then he ever has in years, I think I'd rather take an opinion from a guy who's been in the ring first hand then from some idiot who doesn't know fuck all about him and is probably afraid his accomplishments will end up overshadowing Ali's, so he's doing everything to get people to see it his way haha. That's as delusional as it gets.
This is a sport, not the fucking circle of death, we have something called "referees" in case your too retarded to notice. The moment something starts to go wrong, the referee stops it, understand?? Hahhaah Wlad isn't even a 1 punch KO artist, yet somehow he's going to kill a former world champion??? hahahaha, he's not Ivan drago you moron, as someone pointed out previously.
Holyfield knows the implications of getting into the ring, and if he possibly dies as a courageous champion that he is, I'm sure he won't regret it....
We also have athletic commissions and sanctioning bodies whose objective is to protect fighters from getting injured as a result of 'mismatches.'
I don't care, whatever.
All I know is, you need to realize that Holy is going to get hurt. I'm not trying to play some sort of reverse psychology bullshit card with you, and I never attacked you as a poster. I attacked the idea behind your delusions..........in that you think Holy is going to take over the division again.
It's just no good when people can't let things go. We saw this with Tyson, and everyone was claiming he was going to take over.
A fat Brit nobody knocked him out cold.
Now in this case a great HW hero stands the risk of getting seriously hurt because of his status and you don't even care.

They're many posters here that don't get this train of thought or just don't give a fuck if Holyfield gets hurt or not. Check this thread and posts out:

Don't call me Bert Sugar, but it looks like Joe Calzaghe in Knives avi...
On second glance, it's Klitschko running in that pic. You can tell because he wearing a "boss" jacket...

Good point. Austin though walked to his right and so into the hook (the Brock fight had put all the attention on Wlad's right had). Chagaev wouldn't do that. The punch that wobbled Peter was off the back foot, if Wlad lands something like that there's nothing the opponent could do.
But against Chagaev Wlad will be on the front foot and Chagaev boxing, he'd land the hook only after the jab or instead of the jab (when the jab had landed before that).
In any case this is the best tactical fight available at HW, with Peter-Klitschko being the best overall fight.
The thing is, Chagaev would have to make a game plan based on prediction of Wlad's game plan. I am pretty sure that Steward would prepare a few, depending on Chagaev's tactics. If Chagaev will be boxing (which I don't think he will), he will get hit by that jab from the distance all night long, which is dangerous because Wlad's jab is pretty powerful. I think Chagaev would try to rush on the inside and try to hurt Wlad to the body, which very few opponents attempted, let alone succeeded. That would be interesting to watch.
You know what's so hilarious?
I'm a bigger Holy fan than you've ever been. I've followed his career since you first started yelling at your teachers in junior high.
This just in.........just because you have a picture of him in your avatar doesn't make you more of a fan than I am..........in fact less.
Because you genuinely want to see him get killed.

I'd like to see Wlad fight either Chagaev or the winner of Iggy/Holy. I think Holy stands a good shot at Iggy bc they are about the same size/strength and Holy has faced better opposition and been in a ton of championship fights. This kind of nullfies Iggy's age advantage, and makes the fight pretty even IMO. Wlad would probbably destroy Holy, but with Holy you never know, the guy is a warrior. IMO Chagaev has the best shot of beating Wlad out of any of the current HWs, if for no other reason he's a lefty with power and good boxing skills.
It's kind of weird because I'm almost pulling for Peter to crush Vitali since Vitali winning a title will only hold off unification. At least we know Wlad isn't going to retire after spraining his ankle or getting a cold.
I am pretty sure If Vitali beats Sam Peter which I fully expect him to do... He wont stick around and will probaly retire again.... Remember They have awlays stated That It is a Dream of theirs to be Champs at the same time..
I think that is the ONLY reason Vitali is coming back..
I'm still on about what you sick obsesive fuck? I was making a prediction for who Wlad will fight next. My post had nothing do with Holyfield.
Yeah and you're not a hater. You are genuinely concerned about Holy's health. Fuck you! You aren't concerned about shit you closet hater fuckwad. This post proves it!

you seem to have a major lack of self control. you related to bozo nono? he's banned for life from this site. cool down
Yeah but that was James Toney, one of the meanest counter punchers in the sport's history. Just because he couldn't handle Toney doesn't mean he can't compete with these champs. He can outhustle many if he can fight for 12 rounds and of course Wlad is always open to being KO'd. He might have a better chance against Wlad than say a Chagaev. Maskaev can be KO'd by welterweights. Ibragimov looks like he can be outhustled. Shit, Ray Austin drew with him lol
you bringing up ray austin only makes holyfields chances look all the more worst. ray austin drew with larry donald who beat holyfield up in a one sided fight
You're still on with that?
When are you going to realize, Holyfield is too old and past his prime to be in the ring with Klitschko. He's at a terrible size disadvantage to begin with, he couldn't deal with Toney's punches that weren't a fraction as hard as anything Wlad would throw.............and his reflexes/timing aren't what they used to be. He's a walking liability and Wlad is the extreme when it comes to Holyfield getting hurt.
An insurance salesman put Holy on queer street on the best damn sports show. Sure he stopped the insurance salesman, but couldn't avoid a haymaker that backed him up to the ropes, and gave everyone a good scare. For a minute it looked like Holy was back to his old form, and then it was clear as day it was only a smoke screen.
He fights two fat, plodding, stationary, nowhere near top ten level heavyweights in Maddelone and Savarese and now he's ready to take over again? This is absurd.

They all have great chins, they all were in pretty good shape, good enough to fight for title match-ups, and they all deserve a chance, I feel sorry that Holyfield getting a shot at the title is becoming like a nightmare for you people
Some of you are putting a legend like Holyfield down to dirt, like he suffers some disease.. He deserves a chance, leave it at that, fucking pathetic how negative you people are when it comes to old fighters...
And thats the problem....Holyfield simply doesn't deserve the shot based on what he did earlier in his career.Foreman fought much better comp in his comeback to land a title shot than Holyfield has and people are forgetting he barely beat Fres Oquendo,It was a very close fight that could have easily been won had Oquendo been more active.Holyfield does not belong in with the divisions elite period. It's detrimental to his health.
Agree with what you've said with one exception. Wlad also has a left hook which is as fast and as powerful as it gets nowdays. I think that it would be his weapon of choice in the fight against Chagaev, which would screw up Chagaev's preparations to counter Wlad's right hand. Steward would surely come up with the fight plan that would nullify Chagaev's left. Peter got wobbled by that same left hook and Austin got murdered by it. Still, it would be interesting to see the fight, it would be entertaining to say the least.

I take this seriously. Wlad is susceptible to being hit with left hands, Chagaev will time a left perfectly anytime Wlad even considers throwing a right, Chagaev will not get murdered by the jab like Brewster did. That would be a very dangerous fight for Wlad. Just as dangerous as Peter.

Foreman went about fifteen years without fighting. This is a terrible comparison.
Holyfield has fought the best competition of any HW since Ali. He's been beaten up a lot of times by big punchers and lately even by not-so-big punchers. He's done.
1. Foreman was a physical tank and freak of nature at his old age. Does anyone see a clear deterioration in his speech patterns like Holyfield? Holy is on his way to ending up talking just like Riddick Bowe and Reggie Strickland.
2. Hopkins..........hahahahahah he's a fucking genius who's never taken a beating in his entire career. He just showed the defensive prowess against one of the sports top fighters after winning the LHW title.
3. Holyfield is a walking liability, who's shown that he can't take a punch like he did early in his career......and is showing clear signs that his reflexes aren't what they used to be. He's a shell of the fighter he once was, and it's only a matter of time before something terrible happens to him. He's never had the smart defensive style that would keep him from getting hit flush, and now it's becoming more apparent how he's not able to simply gaurd his face. One more time, he was beat up and knocked out by a blown up super middleweight who never was known as a big punching heavyweight by any means. The only knockout Toney had at heavyweight CAME AGAINST EVANDER.
Holyfield = Fighter who stays too long.
Foreman and Hopkins = Physical marvels for their respective ages.

This is ridiculous.
Foreman has never been anywhere close to being hurt in a fight outside of Ali and Lyle, and was a complete tank at his older age. He also beat better opposition and didn't show a clear deterioration in his reflexes......being put out on his feet against a guy who's a part time boxer.
You comparing Bernard's old age prospers to Holyfields is fucking laughable. Hopkins still has his reflexes and is the current LHW champ of the world. You know what the difference is? Neither of them were beat up, and knocked out by a blown up fighter who isn't even known as a big puncher to begin with.
No doubt there is little to compare about any of those 3 guys except their age......
