The fact that Roy wouldn't finish the guy in his last fight really tells me he's not in any position to beat any of the better fighters in the sport, he was more interested in posturing instead of finishing the fight.

At this stage in there carriers i would go with Hopkins on points. I didnt think the Hopkins vs Wright fight was as bad as most say it was. Sure not a great fight or anything close to that, simply it was what most thought it would be with two defensive fighters against each other. However something that did surprise me in the fight was that Hopkins showed better stamina, and looked freasher at the end. He threw more punches then i thought he would and Winky was the one that was getting tire in the later rounds. If Hopkins can put more pressure early, and avoid to clinche i think Roy wont be able to keep up with him in the later rounds. Roy may be more talent then Bernard, but the old man is ring smart, and fights better in rematches most of the times.

Inside fighting is rough, watch guys who are good at it and you will see Hopkins executed that part very well. Winky was used to keeping distance and controlling with his jab, I dont think I ever seen him with a rough inside Fighter before maybe thats his one weakness. Watch most guys at or around Light heavy and you quickly realize most dont have an inside fight game. If they do they cant change it up at the drop of a hat and move/box like Hopkins also did. That in itself was very hard for Winky to get his rhythm going but remember Winky let Hopkins inside or Hopkins worked his way in and then Winky decided to hold a lot and cry instead of trying to fight harder or move back laterly firing the jab. It's amazing how many Roy huggers and Nard haters there are. I like both fighters, always have, but there is NO WAY Roy beats Nard now. He only landed one shot at a time WHEN HE THREW at Hanshaw, and he is a guy with poor D who standed in front of him the whole time. ROy was doing jack shit 85% of that fight, just staying on the ropes with his hands up. He has 0 foot speed and movement, and Bernard still has plenty. All Roy offensively was throw one shot at a time in the middle of the ring, and he was barely ever there. He is easy work for Hopkins now.

Tarver looked like shit that night and you know it. He had to lose major weight from that Rocky movie. What you couldn't see how flat Tarver was that night. Both fighters(RJJ&B-Hop) had equal experience when they fought, Hopkins had a fight more. Both fighters fought subpar competition b4 that. Your biased ass won't acknowledge that. RJJ has beaten much more and better fighters than Hopkins: Sosa, Malinga, Pazienza, Mcallum, Griffin, Gonzalez, Tellesco, Toney, Ruiz(it's amazing he could even beat a HW at the least), B-Hop wasn't P4P king as long as Roy was there, not even when Mosley was there neither. Who was named fighter of the decade? Who didn't lose a round for 4 years? Who went an entire round w/o getting hit? Certainly not B-Hop. Now don't get me wrong, B-Hop is definitely one of the best Middleweights of all time but, that's it. He can't fight any of the big LHW on a good night. What's up w/ this roid jones bullshit, has he never been tied to it except that one fight against Richard Hall. There was no difference between him in that fight and his other fights. You don't hear of him on the news being tied to Steroids like Holyfield and Toney. Tarver was not looking good that night for sure...
