Forrest vs. Baldomir : Nobody is laughing anymore

Shot? How in the world after watching that fight could you call him shot? Shot men simply do not bloody up and swell up Vernon Forrest. Forrest was simply too good and I'll be the first to say it. Baldomir beats Judah 9 times out of 10. Baldomir put on a great show and showed that he is very good. Forrest is just better. Simple as that. agree with you

Well Baldomir is shot, but he has tremendous heart and a great chin. Forrest is far from shot - and seems to have recovered from his injuries. Forrest looked great because he had a heavy bag in front of him. He did what he needed to win and he is an above average fighter. I like the body work he was trying to do... And for once it seemed like one of Mcgirt's fighters were actually listening to him. I can't judge what he does on 1 fight with Baldomir.

after what i saw yesterday, carlos win over judah was no accident, he could win again. Judah would no stand the pressure, and carlos would wear him down. I know baldomir is a very limited fighter and is nothing special, but i like this guy

I knew this fight would be good. It was a competitive blowout like one of the announcers alluded to. Forrest looked great last night. His punching was precise and had a lot of pop to them. He had everything going last night. Even his feints were beautiful. And he landed a handful of uppercuts that would have dropped anyone else last night. The difference between this and other fights when the outcome is already known is that a lot of guys pack it it. They become satisfied with the win and stop throwing as much. With last night if you were just tuning into the fight at any round you would think that it was a close fight. Because Vernon fought every round as if it was even on the scorecards. And the last minute or so Vernon came hard and finished the fight like a champ is supposed to.

Knowing the eventual outcome after a couple rounds is never a good thing but that boy Baldo was takin' some shots and didn't look fazed at all. More exciting than I thought it'd be but not nothing spectacular. Most entertaining thing of the night was the live shots in the trailer of the Baldo family as they watched Dad get his ass whooped. :lol1:

If it's not one thing...It's another. I'm sure this fight exceeded most people's expectations by far.

I thought it was a very entertaining fight, regardless of the fact that Forrest was always gonna win. Forrest put on a show cause he knew he needed to impress to draw in a big money fight
