I thought Taylor lost the first fight with Hopkins. There's a big difference between aggression & effective aggression & all you have to do is watch that fight & you'll see the difference. The second fight was very close & I thought Taylor won the fight by two rounds but honestly you could make a case for Hopkins winning a close fight. The fight with Winky was just a bad decision. I thought Winky won that fight comfortably but it seems you have to KO Taylor to beat him in a close fight. I didn't watch the fight with Spinks because I knew that fight was going to be terrible & I was right from what I read about it. I have no desire to see that fight either.
I'm sorry, but having him lose to Spinks is just ludicrous. Spinks maybe won 4 rounds. Maybe.
The Hopkins fight, I understand how non-boxing fans scored it for Hopkins. Hopkins lost 7 of the first 8 rounds, comes on strong to take the last 4, does the only damage of the fight, so obviously he looks like the winner because he finished strong and actually landed big shots. BUT HE LOST ROUNDS. I could see how UFC fans scored this for Hopkins, and I know we have a lot of them on here now, so that's not too surprising.
The Wright fight was the closest of all. I was ok with the draw, but if either guy won it, it was Taylor.
Tell that to the plethora of Boxing journalists that had Spinks..
I can't take the fan opinion of this very seriously.
Taylor lost to Spinks.
Hopkins-Taylor I- I thought Jermain won clearly but Bernard did well late
Hopkins-Taylor II- I thought Bernard won or at least a draw
Wright-Taylor- One time I thought Jermain won and then I scored a draw
Spinks-Taylor- I thought Jermain won but Spinks may have taken 3 or 4 rounds
If he lost any IMO they were to Hopkins.
I though he lost to winky and spinks, and the first fight with hopkins was close but had taylor winning 7 rounds to 5, but I dont understand why people think that taylor beat spinks, the reason people thought the mayweather oscar fight was so close was because oscar threw alot more punches than floyd, taylor never let his hands go, he waited 30 seconds sometimes just to throw a single punch.
I thought that Hopkins clearly won 6 rounds. 3, 5, 9, 10, 11, 12. Taylor didn't land a single significant punch in the fight!
i dont think hopkins did enough in round 3, he landed 3 good punches and then backpedaled.........the same in round 7 thats why i think taylor won, had bernard stayed in the fight those 2 rounds not letting taylor outwork him by a lot, he wouldve won....... thats why i said beranrd couldnt have won........but he certainly couldve gotten a draw.......and i agree it was not as much taylor winning but hopkins losing....
and seriously anyone who thinks hopkins won the first taylor fight, is pretty biased against taylor imo, cause hopkins fought only for 6 rounds, rounds 5,7,9,10, 11,12...........

I had Hopkins/Taylor I a draw. Taylor didn't do enough to take Bernard's belts from him. He didn't land one single significant punch in the fight.
I had Wright beating him clearly. Taylor fought well but he lost by several points. Wright took it to him and then he got a bad decision. Taylor looked better in that fight than in any of his other past 4 fights and he still lost.
Taylor/Spinks should have been a draw and both guys should have had their licenses suspended, but Taylor realistically won by a small margin. Just a horrible fight.
he lost to winky 8-3 1 even....
he beat hopkins the first imo 7-5
its pretty hard to score the spinks fight, but after rewatching it, i think jt did enough to win....

There's an option for " None", but not one for "All"?
Watching them as they happened, I had the 1st Hopkins fight a draw, and Taylor losing the rematch, Wright and Spinks.
Watching replays, the Hopkins rematch and Spinks fight could've went either way, but there's no way in hell he won the Wright or 1st Hopkins fight - especially the Wright fight.
Honestly, Taylor has to be (or at least among) the most disputed undisputed champion in boxing history.
I thought he lost the first Hopkins fight and the Winky fight.
I feel if Winky hadn't taken his foot off the gas in the last round, he would've won it. He was too complacent and I feel it was the last round which earned Taylor the draw to be honest.
