Fuck Mayweather-Hatton vs. Cotto is the fight that we must have!

I would like to see this fight also...Rather than the Mayweather to fellas who wont to go toe to toe as you not wha Mayweathers like dont even come to fight just run

I'm def going to the next hatton fight abroad, whether it would be new york or vegas, Hatton vs Cotto would be fantastic, two of my favourite fighters going at it, it would be a great fight. Your country's passion toward Ricky Hatton had me in complete awe. If a fight were held in the much closer state of New York I think it is not out of the realm of possibilty to expect at least 20K Brits. I enjoyed speaking with many knowledgable fans from Britian, my wife is now on record of saying "oh fuck yeah Id lick Ricky's balls" British fans are incredible!

This fight seems destined for next summer on the eve of the PR parade. Except this time they could do it in Yankee stadium. They can easily get 15,000 Puerto Ricans and 15,000 Brits. I think people will be disappointed when they find out Hatton is going to fight another guy at 140. I dont think the Mayweather fight will go down, and I dont think Hatton is ready to move up to 147 yet. Im 95% sure that in five months Hatton will be fighting Malignaggi in MSG.

They would want even more money and Floyd is not going to want to give it to them. Plus, no way Floyd would give them 50/50 even if one does beat the other. Im sorry guys but as or right this minute you guys are really overestimating Cotto's value. How can you guys say things like this when him & Zab easily sold out the Garden but the fight didnt sell on PPV anywhere except for NY & PR. Maybe after Cotto's next fight his numbers will go up and then everyone will want him but if your a star fighter then your going to say "lets wait a little until its a huge fight". Also, why do you guys want to see Cotto-Hatton over Floyd-Hatton? No doubt it will be more exciting but Floyd is the #1 guy in the game so it would be much better to see Floyd fight both guys instead of the other 2 canceling eachother out and only one getting to fight Floyd. There still young, they can fight eachother after all of this

I think if you have PR's and english hooligans in the same arena there will be more fighting outside the ring than in it No. Too much respect from the English anyway. I believe that most Brits think an awful lot of Cotto. Even as a big fan of Ricky's, if you love boxing, you must love Cotto fights as well!

Hatton would fight PBF at a catch weight, not at 147. Bullshit Hatton will fight Floyd at whatever weight Floyd wants to fight at and thats it. Ricky is going to have to bow down to Floyd if he wants this fight, he is not Oscar who is the only man that gets Floyd to make concessions. If Ricky asks for a catch weight Floyd will tall him to fuck himself, a catchweight happens only if Floyd wants it and I think Floyd likes 147 pounds.

Hatton would have to fight Floyd at 147 so why not Cotto the fight is so much more explosive. Plus the fighters respective fan bases are what would make this an event for the ages, I cant even imagine how many Limey basatrds would cross the pond to see a fight in New York, you name the seating capacity and they would fill it not too mention the Puerto Ricans. Does anyone thin Floyd is going to sit and fight Cotto or Ricky (not knocking him for it, he must do what he needs to do to win the fight) but our sport needs a mega fight that actually lives up to the billing. Cotto v. Hatton is it!

It definitely would be a good fight that will generate a lot of buys, ticket sales especially at the Garden but Hatton needs to move up to 147lbs. Cotto will not go anything below 147. I'd pick Cotto to win by a guaranteed KO if this fight ever happens. My prediction is coming from a boxing fan not a Cotto fan.

ey papa-i just got back from the bahamas last night and got your VM; i hope you didn't take TOO much of a hit on that castillo loss ... i've yet to see the hatton / castillo fight but i heard that hatton body shot was straight out of hell and i'm dying to see it. hatton REALLY seems to believe in himself and his chances against mayweather; i'd say let them fight. shoot, could you imagine him getting a nod over mayweather? i can't, but if it did then believe that cotto / hatton breaks PPV and gate records. yankee stadium, the new yankee stadium.

i think everyone would rather see mayweather cotto than hatton cotto. jus my thoughts...
