Top 10 pound for pound
1) Floyd Mayweather Jr-hate to say it but he'd be favored imo from 130-154 against any opponent.
2)Bernard Hopkins
3)Winky Wright
4)W. Klitschko-I feel he is a little underrated. Beat Sam peter, Brock, etc....
5)Miguel Cotto-if he tightened up his defense could easily be #1. Will fight the best
6)Joe Calzaghe
7)Shane Mosley
8)Manny pac-I think he is a little overrated. Fast exciting and all but he can and has been beaten.
9)Jermaine Taylor
10)Ricky Hatton
Most LOVED Fighters
1)Edison Miranda-despite watching his loss against Pavlik in person. I am as big a fan for him as any fighter in recent memory
2)Bernard Hopkins
3)Shane Mosley-Great guy!
4)Samuel Peter-have followed his career damn near since his beginning
5)Roy Jones Jr-Funny he was my most hated fighter for about 12 yrs. But boxing now needs a Roy Jones. Not sure why I hated on him so long.
6)Antonio Tarver-Always a big fan. Related to his struggles.
7)Jeff Lacy
8)Oscar De la hoya
9)Miguel Cotto-Have to like a guy who wants to fight the best. And is a true warrior. I disliked him most of his career but he has proven me wrong.
10)Zab Jadah-Had been in my top 3 for last 5 years but bitchin up against Mayweather dropped him down on my favorite fighters list
Most HATED Fighters
1)PBF-Once a fan. Tired of his arrogance he think boxing needs him more than he needs boxing. Hope he stays retired
2)Jermaine Taylor-Tired of his gifts. He lost both fights to Hopkins and the winky fight as well. Can't beat a girl convincingly!
3)Shamba Mitchell-I'm sick of this guy. He gets brutally beaten in every fight yet talks trash everytime to his next opponent. P4P scrub.
4)Fernando Vargas
5)Zab Judah-Yeah I like him and hate him too. Never accepts defeat makes up every excuse in the book. Will never use his brain in the ring.
6)Antonio Tarver-Another I like but also have started to dispise. His sorry attempt to defame Hopkins beatdown saying he was drugged
7)James Toney-Most overrated fighter of all time. HE lost a lot of fights some against pure bums. Yet he is always highly respected.
8)Joe Calzaghe
9)Ricky Hatton- always have wanted to see him lose. I call him Ricky "the holdman" Hatton
10)Kelly Pavlik-Yeah nice guy but he beat my boy Miranda. Damn you Pavlik. I would have gave my first born to see Miranda KO Jermaine Taylor
My list
1. Bernard Hopkins
2. Oscar De La Hoya
3. Winky Wright
4. Shane Mosely
5. Wladimir Klitschko
6. Sam Peter
7. Miguel Cotto
8. Manny Pacquaio
9. Jermain Taylor
10. Edison Miranda
For all you floyd fans hes not on my list cause hes retired so don't get upset.
I thought P4P was a way of celebrating the talent in the lower weight divisions...
am i wrong or are heavyweights on permanant ban?
o, i wouldnt have a heavyweight in my p4p anyway, not even my top 20
The last HW to figure in p4p list was Lennox Lewis in 2003. Even then the Ring magazine had him in 8th or 9th place.

Hatton said he would only stay at 147 for Mayweather, Cotto because they started at lower weights. Collazo is a full blown Welterweight whos moving up.
Good point if this is true sounds like an excuse to me though
Hatton went to 147 because Collazo was the only fight he could make at the time after the Lacanzo fight was called off. Hatton didn't want to go 147 in the first place, Cotto moved up because he couldnt make the weight at 140 no more.
Get your facts straight Hatton went up to 147 chasing Mayweather. I remmber a btalk video interview where he said bigger fights were at 147. Callazo made him look bad and he moved back down. funny thing is hatton's walk around weight is probably more than cotto's.. You lose pound for pound points when you can't fight in your natural weigh class.
Tszyu has always been overrated to me. Good fighter but he wasnt unbeatable. HE quit boxing like a punk after hatton beat him. Cotto still has a much more impressive resume than Hatton. Klitchko is new and improved would beat anyone even if weight wasn't a factor. P4P hardest puncher right now
By the way both hatton and cotto moved up to 147 mmm what happened to Hatton?
Tszyu was 35/36 years old and had a long career. He's far from a punk...he had nothing left to prove.
If Wladimir Klitschko was 6'1 220 he wouldn't be smoking these fools like he's doing now. His physical advantages play into his success in a serious way. That's not his fault that he's huge, but he also shouldn't be anywhere near a pound for pound list.
Klitschko's big advantage is his size, how can he be a p4p top 5 fighter? Hopkins at #2? lmao
p4p:
1. Floyd Mayweather
2. Ronald 'Winky' Wright
3. Rafael Marquez
4. Joe Calzaghe
5. Juan Manuel Marquez
6. Manny Pacquiao
7. Shane Mosley
8. Ricky Hatton
9. Jermain Taylor
10. Miguel Cotto
cottos never been beat up the way collazo beat up hatton. hattons mum was gasping ...
Great point! Hatton's face looked like a california raisin after the fight LOL!!!!
Cotto hasn't done more than Hatton, Hatton beat Tszyu. Tszyu whooped a prime Judah in 2 rounds. Cotto's best win is against a Judah coming off 2 loses. Hatton has won 4 new world titles in his last 4 fights, thats more than Cotto. Klitchko lost to Sanders, Brewster makes me wanna cry.

Klitschko & Cotto higher than Hatton, Calzaghe, Pacman r u a tool? what is this? Hopkins number 2?
W. Klitschko and Cotto has done way more and fought better competition than Hatton. PAcman I'd give you that but I am not a fan of the smaller fighters. He has fought about 5 of his opponents 3 times each lol. Cmon!
