Who do you guys think is the hardest hitter pound for pound in the world today and why?
I'd proberly say for 1 punch ko power it's definatly pacman, but for continual pain and hurt i'd go for cotto as he can't hurt you with one punch but when he throws combinations it's gona knock you out. :boxing:
manny is a strong puncher but his power seems more like knockdown power than knockout power to me.
he has amazing handspeed and he comes at you in bunches and from a southpaw stand to boot.
he has good power but i wouldn't say he hit the hardest. it's just you don't see his punches sometimes and those are the ones that get you on our back.
wlad klitschko
david haye
kelly pavlik
edison miranda
kermit cintron
there's more
Miranda's power is over rated. When you talk about power you have to think what top fighters they have KOed with that power. Miranda hasn't KOed any top 10 fighter. Pavlik, Haye and Klitschko all have though...
One punch power has to be Pac. Others have 1 punch KO power and demonstrated it against OK and good fighters. However, Pac has demonstrated his power against great fighters with excellent chins.
No one can say that Morales, Barrera or JMM had suspect chins and many of there fans (myself included) would even say that Morales, Barrera and JMM had very good chins but even there fans knew (or feared) that any of those fights could end with 1 punch.
