well honestly, I love these guys, they make fights fun. They do talk a lot of ****...but really, they usually do come to fight. Mayorga may have gotten brutalized by Trinidad, but he actually showed a ton of heart in that fight, and made me laugh my ass off just letting Trinidad load up on left hooks and hit him with them. But I guess Id have to say Mayorga, cause hes just out of his mind half the time, haha. ________ Toyota soarer

I actually thought that Mayorga beat Spinks. Spinks fought like a fool. Falling down and throwing himself on the floor everytime he was in trouble. Not to mention him doing his usual 100m dash in the ring.

vargas has more tools to back up his talk, mayorga is just abrasive in his smack talk and theres no light side to it. vargas would NEVER say shit like "vernon, i'm going to reunite you with your dead mother" .....

I'd say Mayorga, in the sense that Vargas lasted longer with De la Hoya and Trinidad, if memory serves. Also, they were closer to their prims when that happened. Not to mention Vargas atleast STUNNED both of them. Mayorga gets apologetic about it too, and gets WAY too personal.

Vargas is/was a vastly superior fighter & pushed Tito & Oscar to their limits in great performances. Mayorga got his asshole pushed back in by shitter versions of the same two fighters than Vargas fought.
